Xiahou Dun - Level 11 Weapon | Dynasty Warriors 4 Xtreme Legends (4K, 60fps)

Quite a beastly looking weapon if I do say so. Getting it is a pain in the ass though. Beware of the archers for there is more in this stage than a whole story mode....
Difficulty: Expert
Stage: Skirmish at Xia Pi
Restrictions: No Items or Bodyguards
Requirements: Defeat Cao Xing before he retreats, then reach the top right of the map before Xiahou Yuan slows the water WITHOUT entering the top left of the map. In addition to this, defeat 100 enemies within 10 minutes.
Tips: This one is without a doubt a pain in the ass. Just stun lock Cao Xing when the stage starts. Once he's dead reach the top of the map and get the dialogue where Xiahou Dun says something about getting payback, once that's happened, jump back into the river and go to the top left area as the enemies there are easier to defeat and you get more item drops there and rack up the KO count. Yuan Shu's officers should follow you over there too. once you've got the weapon, save then defeat Lu Bu's two officers.

Thank you for the video guide. I read an old GameFAQs guide from 2004 and at the time never considered that the guide itself could be wrong. It could've been a wrong translation to English, or for a different version of the game. This guide was straightforward and made the requirements crystal clear in the description and walkthrough. After so many years of this challenge bugging me, it was finally achieved. So satisfying to see the battle report message appear on screen when the 11th weapon is finally unlocked.

I literally had to just use the musou for this cus my health constantly got drained by Cao xing

Honestly I didn't think it would be so infuriating to play for the first time but what makes it so hard, with no items and hyper mode on all officers, and too many god damn archers where they take chunks of your health, even if you have max defense, and lastly when attacking, locking your position completely so you cant aim where you wanna fight, especially when trying to fight Cao Xing at the start. Shit like this, makes me wonder if this weapon is even worth it.

You can use second player to help you. Without items, Lu Bu with weapon level 11 is the best.
