My heart aches for this man through the whole drama. It's like a bittersweet and so addicting feeling that you can't get enough and want more of this sadness and pain. Actually, I think her love for Jing is like an option cuz she wants to settle with someone who can stay by her side but Xing Liu, even though she knows he is not the one who can stay by her side, and yet she still falls for him. You can break down her love for all three male leads by carefully analyzing the conversations they had. For me, the true genuine love of her was Xiang Liu.

Gosh, the tension these two have is out of this world! Your video captures this so so so incredibly well! Wow! 🔥 Xiang Liu is truly a captivating and ethereal character. In all my years of watching dramas since 2009, it's rare to encounter such a mesmerizing and intricately developed character like him. Damn...what did the writers think not making them endgame? They could've been an iconic and unforgettable couple... I'm dreading the thought of Season 2 breaking my heart. I'm honestly unsure if I can bring myself to watch it...

This song is so absolutely perfect for these two. I wish they could have a life together that didn’t include the hurt and betrayal caused by others. Some think Jing is the better choice but I think Xiang liu is and I have since his character was introduced. Thank you for this vid, job well done!! ❤

He is. He empowers her not only to do better but in confronting her past which is her parents. Also, XY is the long lost heir of the Kingdom that XL is trying to resurrect for his comrades and lost home. She is the sole daughter of the king which turned out to be the demon too. XL knew his dad as well.

@@thepenguin1024 I don't think she was drawn to him at first... if anything, she was just scared of him. Xiang Liu on the other hand was intrigued by her "medical skills" and I believe he was also ..." amused by her small talk" in order to save her own skin. She paid him so many compliments that he almost probably laughed his head off. I bet he never met anyone like her. Knowing that Xiao Yao also lied to him about her gender... Xiang Liu wasn't going anywhere. (I am still reading the novel)

XY chose Jing because he was the only one that would be by her side never leave her however the person she truely love and desire was XL but she know they can never be together so she suppresses this love down her heart. However XL also know her feeling but he also choose to ignore and not pursue her to give her the life that she wanted - peace and life time companion.
