Today in VRChat my friend Matt and I (both white Americans) used our fluent language abilities to pretend to be Chinese and Japanese. People were totally shocked when we revealed that we were in fact American! This was a really interesting prank / social experiment, and if you’d like to check out more examples of Matt’s amazing Japanese, be sure to check out his channel at Matt vs. Japan: / mattvsjapan

On the growth and monetary side and for the bigger portion of your viewers this is the best format of the channel ive been around for the most of your time being a creator and the idea of what u do is very catchy to me and probably most of us esp the people who understand why this is actually mimd blowing to the people you run into but for me idk how to say this without making me sound ignorant or sound as I'm dogging your videos but idk they bore me and finding these game versions are completely the opposite for me and exactly what it was lacking for me personally abd even if your not into games I think you'd grow insaanely esp with how the gaming scene is everywhere but especially china in particular

I think that’s because for some reason English has become the “trade language” if that makes sense. Like businessmen and people that travel abroad for work are expected to know at least a bit of English. Someone else help me explain it. It’s in my brain and idk words anymore 😂

Really sucks cuz English isn’t even an interesting language. Doesn’t even sound nice.

@@duncanbubbles1575 Ya I know. I feel like native English speakers expect everyone to know English so they don’t learn any other languages and this is why I wasn’t to learn a bunch or languages! I’m Canadian by the way :)

@@Charlie-ru3wb Exactly. Native English speakers have become too comfortable with assuming everyone else can speak English. Glad I could find someone that knows what I'm talking about :) I'm from the U.S. :)

I could watch an hour straight of people being delighted to meet someone who has given them so much joy and inspiration. Hope to bump into you in a VR chat some day myself -- I'll be the Hindi-speaking guy with the Boston accent, should be pretty easy to spot.
