Today I met NYC’s top chiropractor @DrDougWillenHouseofChiro, who is both a KZbinr and a master chiropractor. He cracked my messed up "old man" back and entire body (including a lot of neck cracking and with the Y-strap) in an unbelievably satisfying way, and I felt so good after the treatment. Chiropractic is quite safe when done by a licensed professional, but please do not try any of this at home.

I had my first chiro today and my reaction was very similar to yours, I was screaming a lot in the room. The first sensation I get is blurred vision after the session, coz a of tensions is being released from the body. My body is so much straighter now and pain in my lower back and neck area is 40% gone, it was a huge relief I could barely bend my back before the chiro session, so painful.

I was laughing with this guy getting adjustments coz I know how good it feels, especially if you're in a lot of pain going in, afterwards you feel like you're floating on a cloud, feet not touching the ground, and your still laughing coz it just feels so good. Man, I wish there was a good chiropractor around here.

How long does this last for, or must you repeatedly go back for more sessions
@hannahfloran5418
@hannahfloran5418 11 күн бұрын
@luxologanca3205 My pain did not come back. I imagine it would depend on what you have going on with your body. You may need to try different chiropractors, depending on your body type. This particular doctor has all the advanced machines, and that stretch table was new to my knowledge. Usually, you don't get that much done in one session. Learning where your pressure points are is helpful, there are tools that can be used to massage them and sometimes just doing that can make you feel much better. Just make sure to drink a lot of water after any body work to flush the toxins that are released. I wish you well. God bless and keep you safe ❤️.

Don’t waste your money fam lol besides, the cracking is just placebo and no one actually knows the cause of it (it’s called a cavitation and cause is highly debated) so you may not even get a satisfying crack (benefits if you are a good candidate for manipulations to begin with, however, will remain regardless of if you get the “pop”)

The thing that has impressed me the most is that the chiropractor has done SO MANY adjustments to him in the one session. Most chiropractors would've stretched that out over 4-5 sessions. But no, he's just cracked on with it (sorry!) and got it done 👍🙂

@@dariusfuller2898Mad? Hell, I still have no idea what you were trying to say. Well, apparently you have a chiropractor who likes to rebook you several times a week. The Chiro's I do business with, adjust me, one end to the other, and I go my way. You see, I research my Chiropractors and get what I want, done. You apparently let your chiro get away with what they want to do, and you bought into it. Unlike this "Student Chiropractor" I do live in the real world. I'm not sure what fantasy land you two reside in. If you like to pay for extra visits when you could get it done with one visit, well money bags, that's your choice. Oh, I don't know if I mentioned this but I hurt my back 45 years ago and Chiropractors have kept me healthy since then. AND I had a MRI confirmed bulged disc. NO Surgery so far. But hey, you have it all figured out so go for it Gott Took. lol

Dr Doug is serious, he identified so many problems you didn't even think you had like with the nose and shoulder thing. I never considered that stiffness could cause other muscle groups to compensate for muscles being unable to bend well. It's crazy to think that I'm using muscle groups that aren't meant for certain motions and that those can be separated so easily by a professional to give me more accurate range of motion. Damn I really need a chiropractor like this.

dont know much bout this stuff, but you gotto loosen the support structures (muscles ect) then you can rearrange the foundation.. otherwise youd have resistence.. one reason why distracting patients and having them relax with outbreath ec is nice and effective(although not a perfect method).. so you rearrange the skeleton.. ok.. moving it into position ok ( it works.. not perfect, but it works well when done correctly. can be hazardous to do wrong) the next logical step would be to have some kind of physiotherapy/excercise regiment where the support muscles are retrained so as to support the new skeletal configuration correctly .. hopefully the patient will have this become muscle memory and instinctual.. and also become more aware of their own body through the experience of training and the former release of tension-numbness-pain. this sort of regiment would be rather nice.. although if one wanted to add to it further, doing some sort of psycho-somatic therapy which targets the behavioural tension-profile(not native english sry) like.. the way our mostly subconscious mind will tension the body (stationary and the dynamic patterns in which muscles are activated and not) .. most of this stuff is instinctual from habits ect, some of which are unhealthy habits and coping mechanisms.. say if you broke a leg, you learn to walk with a broken leg, muscles will be tense and used in a compensatory way, now say it takes a long time, the misplaced forces will have maybe caused a unnatural/unhealthy pattern of tension in many places in the body, so even after the leg is healed, the tension will remain.. duh, no surprise.. it can happen. now.. say you realign the muscles, but you are instinctively used to tense your muscles in a certain way, so even after you realign, your habits will recreate the same pattern, ok.. do training.. say, you have some minor lapse in consciousness, and the mind cannot seem to adapt the new regiement, well, this is where the psychosomatic biodynamic therapy comes in, where you will retrain the mind in many ways, but maybe more so, also release whatever kind of "habit" that is nested in this psychosomatic intersection of the bodymind complex. this is often a treatment applied in some trauma or trauma(mental often) related situation. there are a shitton of methods, and there are a shitton of attempts at unifying these things, but other than maybe cranial osteopathy, which still may be lacking ( i have to little experience to know), even the good and decents attempts are a little disorganized as to adress the larger picture.. that is, with the exception of individuals who choose to study a selection of these fields and utilize them synergetically in their practice. i just wanted to add a comment as i find the field of study interesting, so feel free to correct anything, and do remember to take these words with a couple grains of salt ;)

Ultimately, just like every other profession it depends on their quality of education. Australian chiropractors are required complete the same amount of credits as a medical student which requires 5 years covering units from pathology, kinesiology, diagnosis, microbiology..etc. Every health practitioner are required to do post graduate studies in order to keep practising so we are up to date with research around evidence based practises. To just say we are varied is indeed true, but just like your doctors everyone has their own expertise.
