Kudos to Xiaomi for not going above 6.5 inch screen size like most of the other brands. Being a stock Android guy if i do get this then I'll have to install Nova launcher on it. A really good smartphone though! 🔥

Bought it, did that. If you need wallpaper scrolling, playstore's nova current version(8.x) doesn't support as HyperOS requires force scrolling which can be done via 3rd party installation and go for version 7's apk. Another compromise due to 3rd party installation is that nova gestures won't get supported, if in case u're used to some.

I bought xiaomi 14 over op12 after checking both phones at their respective showrooms, Things went against OnePlus are, curved display, too big, most importantly camera didn't felt good especially the shutter lag, also no ip68 rating. The hyper OS on x14 is quick and smooth, it's very fluid and no ads after proper initial setup. One plus feels like a premium mid-range with the design and feel, x14 feels proper flagship.

If you have the budget for this device, i.e. 40-49k, would recommend you get the Xiaomi 14 instead, way better hardware! After exchange bonus+ bank discount (yes, both can be applied for the 14 and the 14 ultra) and old device exchange value, you can get the Xiaomi 14 under 50k, got mine at 44k! And As for Samsung, Exynos devices especially, the cameras on them will leave you high and dry after a few months or updates, making them barely usable, especially the FE variants.

​​@@abhaynagpalI was surprised too, but the person at the billing counter did it I don't remember the exact order of how the offers were applied, but I was told it was possible, and it did, the phones value dropped to 49,000 after exchange and while swiping the machine swiped for 44,000. I would have gotten it for 42,000 had I checked the appraisal report of my old device. (For exchange, their appraisal partner is cashify, after they appraise your device, don't forget to ask to see the report, my old device was in mint condition and under warranty, but I received 2000/- lesser than I was supposed to cause they selected the device to have some scratches and dents.)

nah bro processing of Samsung is better, but go fo Xiaomi 14 if you want the best experience. you can get that phone around 50k depending upon the exchange bonus. you get 12/512gb as storage too with triple 50mp sensors. that in my opinion is better than most of the phones that are in it's range I have been using the phone, and in my experience it's better than my brother's 15 and 15 pro.

Loved your review about the phone. So I am currently using the Google Pixel 7 which I recently bought around a month back and I am truly disappointed with the phone in terms of the camera quality and heating issues. I was about to exchange the phone within a day but then I would lose out on a lot of money. I had the Pixel 2XL years ago and that was one of the most brilliant phones by Google. I m not Xiaomi fan, at all. But I must say Xiaomi has passed lot of good things in this phone. Why dont they provide IP68 i don't understand.
