Analogic audio is better than digital audio. While the USB type C can transfer electricity, video, audio and other stuff; the audio jack is only made for transferring audio, and it has been used for a long time, so it's basically more developed.

Well. I have 2 xiaomi fones. Redmi Note 4 and a note 6 pro. Both excellent fones. Great daily performance and great battery life. I reduced animations to 0.15. Now it feels extremely fast. As fast or maybe faster than One plus. What more can one ask for the price range. Maybe gaming performance. But i cant tell, as i dont game on fones. 😄

It is compact and smaller coz of the slimmer bezels. It is even smaller than my redmi 5 with a 5.7" screen. Might even be smaller than 5.5" phones 2-3 years ago.

My Mi A1 is almost two years old now. I dropped it and the corner of the touchscreen broke within a week, and that is the only problem of any kind I've had with it since I got it. Regularly updated, no root or anything, just pure stock.

May i suggest for you? Better you choose mi 9se. You will know if you compare the camera, boom! Then this phone have super amoled display on full HD+ screen resolution! The battery only 3070mah but, it can hold about 8-9 hours (playing games, youtube and social media). It have Super Slo-mo video! 950fps! I guarantee you to buy this one. Thanks

Why so much fuzz about the headphone jack 🙄 … there's an adapter included btw. I have the phone and it's superb. Only thing is the battery, which could've been slightly larger. Also VoWiFi and VoLTE are working fine on it. To enable VoWiFi use dial code (w/o spaces): * #*#869434#*#* Related options will then appear in SIM settings.

The Mi 9se has similar screen gestures that my iPhone 10 has. The one complaint I have about the Xiaomi Mi 9se, is that scrolling in some apps is laggy compared to ios. It is a vgery nice phone other than that.

Regarding the (lack of) 3.5mm audio jack, you can get USB-c to 3.5mm adapters on Amazon for around £10. I hate that some phones got rid of the port just because it's trendy and Apple did it, but thankfully there's a pretty easy workaround if you don't like wireless. Great review btw!:)

honestly. Its completely up to you. If you prefer ios, then choose the 7 plus. If you like android, then get the mi 9 se. Keep in mind the xiaomi mi 9 se will last longer, becuase you are able to get custom android roms when xiaomi discontinues it.

I have this phone, and I will never go back to a Flaship. I think 1200 for a new Samsung or Apple, I'd have to be nuts when for $430 you can get a smartphone with the best cameras, cpu/gpu, and good battery life, wireless charging. Edit: I hvae the Mi 9 Transparent 8/256 setup.

@@corentinguillo5577 no! ao is the right vowel combination to make 小(Xiao) sound you could express it as shao, the I is silent 米 the pinyin is mi but would be better expressed by the English word (me). So you could just read the pinyin xiaomi but none of you geniuses seem to be able to wrap your head around that even... Let me guess you also pronounce Huawei (Wa way)!?! Do you need a lesson on that too? Just look up pinyin for beginners on KZbin you can learn just like everyone else.
