Mi Mix holding its own! Neither selfie shots are anything to write home about. Since it's Note 9 day, it's a bit sad that it has basically the same cameras as the S9+.

I don't know why they don't make the front cameras better...they suck on all phones... And the Note 9...as you said...same cameras.

Now with the newer software updates MIUI 10.3.2 GLOBAL in my mix 2s i have never been more satisfied with its camera performance. Videos now are more smooth.

good review Alex , but you are verry kind , but the sharpness of the S9 is better in all the siutuations, and the saturation of the Mi Mix 2S is better : result : th Mi 8 is better than te mi mix

Honestly man, it seems overall that the Mix 2s wins for still and the s9 for video. Sure the s9 is a little better for the night shots but, for me, the vast majority of pictures I take are daytime.

Day time pretty much equal. Night time GS9. Selfies Mix 2S for sure. The ones from the S9 are way overprocessed.

You could argue that night-time and indoor photos are what really defines the camera quality. Most phones seem to take good pictures in sunlight outdoors. So, of course the S9 is a superior product.

That's my point. Are you looking for the best camera or the most price-worthy? Some comments to these reviews say that "Hey I only take pictures during daytime and I don't care about color accuracy. So the Mix2s is the best". That's more of a personal opinion and not a fact.
