@Max Mustermann The Mi Mix 2S is also very good but it doesn't have AMOLED screen but it's got Dual speakers. So, a few things to consider.

Max Lee poko isn’t good when it comes to audio I do not like the microphone quality I returned it or simply put sold it within 20 days was highly disappointed I do lots of recordings That is why it is out from my list

I have seen that on xda for Poco, they have released a los build with ir face unlock working. I think it will be available also on the mi 8. If that happens you can actually have a pixel phone with a better face unlock option.

You do not see the notifications because of the Nova launcher (but you can activate it on Nova too). On MIUI, every notification is shown on the app icon by default.

Samsung devices tend to slow down and bug down quicker than Xiaomi devices in my opinion. My S7 edge started to overheat and had bad battery life about just after 8 months from purchasing it. Then when I got an S8 the same thing started to happen to it after 4 months from buying it. It seemed my past Samsung flagships deteriorated more and more every software update it got in my experience.

I got my 128GB yesterday for $350 and it comes with a high-quality silicone case for free. After some research, I know it is the hardware equivalent of the Pixel 3 XL(even the camera sensor AND cheaper than Poco) and I can flash the software into a Pixel 3 equivalent. I am waiting my 7 days to unlock the bootloader but it has been flagship level except for the mediocre speakers. The last time I visit the States I was using a Oneplus 3T which all US carriers have dropped 4G coverage for no reason. I hope the Mi 8 with a custom ROM can get around this in the future

Bro, change the region to India and you will immediately get face scan option. Just enable it and you can use it right away. Just give it a try. Changing the region has no effect on other things, as far as I have been using. (The face scan is fast! and works in a completely dark room)

Mi Mix 2s is the premium phone from Xiaomi, with QC, dual speaker and so on but the Poco F1 is a banger. 4000 mAh, dual speaker, micro SD, 845... 64GB 260€ :D

I'm still using a mi8 but it will soon get relegated to being my work phone. You maybe over praised the cameras but they are reasonable. Performance is as good as any Snapdragon 845. Great screen, but I miss stereo speakers. I guess it's 2018s answer to this year's Realme x50 pro. Nice vid. Yeah for a small battery 3400 Mah, you get good SOT 7 hours more on wifi

I'm a bit confused. I just ordered this phone, and was wondering if it would work on MetroPCS (T-Mobile) , in the United States. You said it does work on T-Mobile, but under the description of the phone it is missing band 4 under the GSM category. But it does have band 4 under fdd-lte and wcdma. I'm not really sure how that works exactly. Any help would be appreciated.

Also samsung doesn't use quick charge 2.0, it is compatible with QC 2.0 but the charger in the box is samsung adaptive charger which charges as fast as any phone with QC 3.0. You can see this by complaring the charging speeds, samsung is not behind at all.

The notch isn't hiding notifications. I have the mi5 which has no notch and no notifications are ever shown at the top of the screen. Same as my previous phone mi4.
