For me personally, I would choose the Huawei Nova 7i. The Antutu Benchmark of this phone is 250k or higher if you turn on performance mode. I think it is currently ranked number 1 in midrange phone in 2020 (correct me if I'm wrong, Kirin 810 processor is currently the best midrange processor in the market even better than the SD 720G or SD 730G processor) it also has a large battery and powerful charger to pair with. But for a lot people the lack of GMS is a deal breaker so it's understandable that a lot people would rather buy the Redmi Note 9 Pro.

Oh and no micro expandable memory in the Huawei Nova 7i. But I think 128gb is enough for daily use or gaming you can always use the cloud for storing pictures/videos.

Yes huawei is giving us a good phones with good performance yet people only don't buy it because of google service. But I manage to have gms by asking the sellers to install it and they did!
