I just recently got myself a Note 8T 4Gb/64Gb and already from the first photos i got some positive comments and people who ask which phone I used. That says alot to be honest , and i haven't even got the best one, these Redmi's are just awesome budget smartphones. Batterylife rocks, usesability , size, quality of finish, etcetc, just loving it! If they stick to their prices, I'd stick to this brand for sure.

This phone is awesome for the price, xiaomi should really start putting oled screens with high refresh rates on their budget devices. There is a fierce competition from oppo with their own mid-range devices. It's a great phone especially for the price though.

Olatunde A. I’m not so sure that oled is ( in the long term , and momentarily for sure) the way to go. I found myself at the brink of buying a samsung galaxy a71, with a much higher pricetag and definitely a beautiful screen. The horror stories that I read about burning in problems with oled screens in general witheld me from acquiring one. In the beginning all is well, but if you use that oled screen to it’s full potential, problems arrive. To eleviate these problems you have to diminish the brightness,keep the screen on time to a minimum when idle, prefer dark screen settings and try not to have notify banners too long on the screen. Seriously?! Then you lose all the charm of having an oled screen...and even when taking care of all these precautions there still is the aging problem of the blue leds, that hypothesise the screen quality over time. Driving a car for a long journey and use for example Waze as a navigation program could already be troublesome for your screen. All these issues are non existent with the lcd screens that are used in cheaper phones.

@@stafvh5783 Thanks for your detailed explanation, my brother uses a Samsung A30 and I don't think he had these issues but I use the Redmi Note 8 currently and my lcd screen suffers from burn in's every now and then. I personally think oled screens should generally be offered in the upper mid range spectrum of phones especially in 2020. Not saying lcd's are bad but the oled screens give overall better viewing experience and you get better battery life.

i got this at £124 and this phone is fantastic for the value, i install gcam and camera works about 30% better than default mi camera apps

@IshttRox 2.0 in Malaysia this phone is 20% cheaper than realme 6 4gb ram, so i'm prefer this over realme 6 and this sd720g is much better in developer, it's a new launched chipset, it will have much more update than mediatek g90t. miui also has second space, for me it was a better option for a phone. Build quality also better on redmi note 9s,i can live with 60hz display, 18w charger. I'm already install gcam on this phone and it's works like a magic, the details it get was about 30% better than stock default mi camera.

@IshttRox 2.0 sd720g 8nm is also better for long term than g90t 12nm chipset, but it's up to you. If realme 6 is priced at same price of redmi note 9s,i might try realme but for now, i dont think so, i'm used to use any phones for just 6 month or less. Why realme put sd720g on pro model, it must be sd720g has slight advantage over g90t

@IshttRox 2.0 9 pro has a good camera and camera features. I install gcam and the detail of photo taken is a bit better because of hdr+ by google.

@@turbotiger5998 it's a nice phone but it's not released in my country. i still prefer redmi note 9s, this sd720g is very snappy and stable, its hard to notice this phone to heat meanwhile g90t is good but it is likely to heat more and that is not good for long period.

Using it since it came out. I think its still the better option than redmi note 11 out there. Better upgrade my phone sometime later few years in the line. My last Samsung J716 is still holding up very well except its much more slower or I'm not used to it anymore.

The photos look amazing 😮The blurring doesn't look all that great though. Would be good if that can be turned off. I don't get the naming convention with calling this phones "Note"...I thought they'd come with a stylus like the Galaxy Note, so it's easier to make notes/draw. 6:53 Did you drop it already? 😬😅

Have you noticed that the output of the 3.5mm jack is kinda weak? I bought a 9S to give away as a gift and I've noticed that compared to my Redmi Note 8 Pro and other old phones the 9S 3.5mm jack only delivers about 85% the volume of my Note 8 Pro. Like my 8 Pro only needs to be at 85% volume to match the max volume on the 9S.

Good review. I bought a Redmi Note 8 and it however was absolute junk. Kept telling me SD cars was slow when formatting. The Mia3 does the same. A U3 V30 class 10 slow? No an SD card reader that is a binned part reader. Did you try putting an SD card in yours? I called Xiaomi out on this but no response so far.

Xiaomi offers very reasonable gadgets at economical price. I reviewed all new released devices and compared to iPhone Pro Max and what I only like about iPhone is the quality of the pictures and videos it produces. So I would jump to Xiaomi

Very nice phone. No plans to buy because I just got a Redmi Note 8 Pro last March, but it I were to recommend a phone to someone yes it'll be this one or the Note 8 Pro. As be for the headphone jack, discussing it shouldn't even be a thing. This stupid trend of having no earphone jack has to go.
