Hi all , We are from singapore, We are doing projector repairs since 2009 , It so nice to see people sharing knowledge on repair here , After reading your wemax 4k vertical lines solution , we manage to make the stainless steel plate with few try , the diamension is critical and flatness is critical , installing it needs to very very careful not to damage the dnd chip , We try over 5 times with the laser Cnc machines, finally after the 5th finished stainless steel plate, We manage to be suscessfull and we hv installed the stainless steel plate , and been using the Wexma 4k for the pass 9 months daily , and some of my customers using it also for 6-9 months after installed the stainless plate . And 1 musem use it daily 8 hours daily about 5 months ago , till now , no complains . Wonderful All happy and finally we resolve this flaws that Xiaomi made . Thanks for you . Reviewer, please do a video where you run the projector at only 100 inches not 150 and talk about how if it it improves performance. This is key since 100 is huge and at 33% closer and only 66% of designed image that could prove a revolutionary performance increase with no loss

thank you for excellent review. Are you able to help please with which 3D glasses are compatible, beyond perhaps DLP 3D? Is there anything to look out for. I had purchased a XGmi Lune 4k short throw laser projector, and its 3D look so fake, thing that are supposed to pop out looks concave in instead for few second and pops out later, the background and foreground just keep on switching back and forth. It hurts the eyes to watch it. Does your Wemax do that? I really need a 3D projector because I have so many Blurays in 3D. Thank you .

So basically you are telling European users (50Hz) that the image when watching movie and television series material from cable TV isn't going to give a pristine viewing experience? Second, when you have a TV box for streaming those same kind of materials that does not produce 4k output but only 1080p outot to the FMWS02C there will not a good picture quality because of the forced noise reduction.

hi.. I know this review is 3 years old, but i had seen this and puchased the Xiamoi We Max One Pro in March 2019. Yesterday 30 June 2021 something happened and my screen has some issues. The outter lense was regularly cleaned with a cloth and the device was never moved from position. I want your help to get a Replacement lamp and lense for the We Max One Pro. Can anyone help.

In an AV forum I saw pictures of a Xiaomi Mi UST with a "02" difference in it's model number and it did indeed have a full Android TV Oreo (8.1) UI. It just a matter of time before that ROM becomes available on the Wemax, after all the Mi UST came out a year earlier than the Wemax.

Hi Vincent, I have a small problem with my Wemax One. NOt sure if you have a solution for it. Till date I had only used my Amazon Firestick on it and everything was fine. I plugged in a USB drive yesterday and suddenly it went bad. Now every time I start it up it projects a black and white chessboard image for about 5 seconds and then turns off itself. I dont know how to fix this. There isnt any repair centre here in India. Please tell me there is a simple way to fix this.

Ok so here's what happened. I wrote to Xiaomi global. They replied within 24 hours (was not expecting such a quick response). Here's what they advised - "....it is caused by physical movement causing the laser part shift from correct position. You can try to put the projector in right position (audio side up, power side down), and softly knock it to try shift the laser part back. But be careful do not damage the item." I did what they suggested. Didn't work at first attempt. Tried again. And again. And again. And VOILA!! It just got back to normal.
