I follow Sabi and parts of Kruger but not sure of this area ,, but Wow what Amazing Females they are hugh and Beautiful!!! I notice that when females come up to the king males and head bump, the male generally pulls back. When a young or sub adult male does that to a king male he allows the greeting with no objection but also does not engage. Then when a coalition partner greets another they both head rub, body rub and are happy to enjoy one another even playing and rolling around together. Definitely the females are lowest ranking, except at mating time of course. But I enjoy the interaction of the sub adult males with dad or uncle as they begin to realize their future status as kings.
