I absolutely love your videos and product... I was genuinely crap at Call of Duty Multiplayer and only played zombies, this took me to a level I would happily challenge anyone at. I really hope this can carry to the ps5. The only gripe I have is the reduced amount of auxiliary configs I can add.. I recommend this product to anyone that will listen to me. 👍🏻 Yes, I would love more, there are currently 4 additional slots. Quick scope takes one, slide cancel takes 3 (for example) that leaves no room for parachute, inventory etc in warzone. If we could have say... 10? I don't know how the hardware would react with all the crossover auxiliaries? BTW, For multiplayer I simply use left mouse for aim and fire.. Instant advantage. 😂 But used the proper ads settings on one of your previous videos, so I'm down from 100 to around 12.. Love it. ✌🏻

Thanks man! I already tested the soldier change but he doesnt have a consistent recoil, it gets stronger the longer you shoot. I think the best solution would be to tie an increased XYRatio to your left mouse button so whenever you shoot you have less recoil. I think i have to test more though.

My recent OW Config update video from a month or two ago is as good as it gets with the current recoil bug, for a better experience we first need an ingame update.

If you added another auxiliary ads on top of this one would it reset the trigger of the aim assist and make it more accurate? So say you have this first delay then you do another one at say 500ms. Would it make the aim assist reposition you again to make you even more on target? Also is there a chance to add more configs in a new update? Love this product!

Hey, support will be added when the game is officially out. Adding support for a beta usually isnt possible since it takes around a week to create a game profile and a beta is usually over by then. From what i heard the BO4 config works the best.

You can do that as well if you want a little bit more aim assist in the HIP mode, i just didnt add it in this video since the target was to minimally affect your muscle memory and adding the curve to either the HIP or ADS would slightly do that :).

I asked since I just cant get rid of an annoying change in speed between hip and actual ads (aux) between 0 and 224 ms. And this was when testing with hip and ads aux with default curve.

@@Ronald-vz6pl Yes the same HIP and ADS sensitivity in your XIM will not result in the same turnspeed between HIP and ADS. This is due to the zoom of the ADS. You will need to dial it in by yourself if you want exactly the same sensitivity across the two (or alternatively ask in the XIM Forum if someone already did the work and can tell you the conversion rate). I think the conversion was something like 3,3 or 3,4 but i could be wrong.

Yes and then create another sub config that will act as your normal ADS config. Setup is like this: Regular HIP config -> switches into -> your previous ADS config that boosts the aim assist for 300 milliseconds -> switches into -> Auxiliary 1 sub config that now has all your normal ADS values and will act as your new ADS config.

Hey, da CoD ein ADS Delay benutzt musst du quasi deine HIP Config in die ADS Config übertragen + die Booster Settings dort einstellen. Danach dann eine neue Auxiliary Config erstellen welche dann deine neue ADS Config wird. Das ist der grobe Fahrplan für CoD :).

I would always recommend to use hold toggle. It has a lot of advantages over toggle, such as that its much faster since you arent require to double click to go in and out of the scope. This for example makes it also easier to quickscope, or shoort quickly after ADS-ing in general. Next to that by holding down the button you increase your pressue on the mouse, which for most people results in a increased mouse accuracy.

Hey, XIM Matrix will have far better features than this! :) For MW2 you must move your ADS Config into a sub config and import all your ADS settings into the sub config including the Translator mode. Then turn your ADS config into the booster config for the duration of your original ADS Time. Set the ADS Config to HIP Translator mode too.

For Apex Legends you dont need to use the CoD orientation. This is only necessary for games with ADS Delays. CoD and RDR2 are the only two games at the moment, so for any other game you dont have to do that :).

Hey, you will have to add your booster delay on top of the anti recoil delay. Otherwise if you start to shoot while going into the ADS mode you can cancel the ADS Booster. Outside of that they shouldnt cancel out each other as the ADS Booster will "finish" before the Anti Recoil config is activated.

Hey, i assume you refer to CoD right? CoD has a delay when switching from the HIP to ADS aim mechanic. Because of that you also have to consider that in this config setup. As for non-CoD games, you utilize the ADS transition time to boost the aim assist. The delay takes care of that then.

Hey, here are your answers :) 1) Use your normal ingame settings, but if you refer to my current OW settings then its AAW 10 AAEI 70 and AAS 100. 2) Yes exactly, your HIP config takes care for when you shoot from the hip and your ADS config for when you zoom with a weapon. 3) For the ballistic curve i would highly recommend you to watch my two ballistic curve tutorial videos. Its quite complicated to explain it in a few words and the two videos do a good job in explaining how a curve works and what it does by using examples.

The most precise one would be to either record yourself pressing the ADS button with your phone in slow motion and count the time, or record a short clip with your console and analyze it in the free PSN app SharePlay to get the ADS time. But this is not really required since its not that important to have the optimal value plus most games usually have 300-500 milliseconds of ADS animations anyway. Also for a better effect a longer value is more beneficial, i could see a lot of people using a value that goes beyond the actual ADS animation time to get more aim assist for lets say another second to get onto the target. So even if you have the perfect value its worth it to experiement with shorter or longer values :).

For CoD i would not recommend to increase the value beyond the ADS Delay time of your weapon. Otherwise you can suffer from a sensitivity jump. Being able to customize the value to whatever number you like to only works for non-CoD games.

Ok, I've ran this tutorial, seems that there are no negative effects, even though it looks wacky. So, what is it actually doing to the aim mechanic. I know quantisation is mentioned, but all the curve seems to suggest is a staggered velocity. Could you elaborate on how this would effect things. I understood quantisation like the way it works on to the Steadyaim feature, where it alters the fidelity from point to point (a bit like how anti aliasing works on a diagonal line). So does this video suggest that the curve somehow works in the same way by only altering velocity?

The curve puts your mouse movements closer to those of a controller stick, instead of a plethora of different velocities the curve restricts you to a set amount of speeds defined by the curve. You are therefore more likely to maintain a fixed speed as opposed to constantly changing your crosshair speed when moving your mouse to the side. The closer your mouse movements are to those of a controller the more aim assist you will have. Since most games have the strongest aim assist movement during the scoping this trick ensures that you dont deactivate the aim assist while scoping in.

It would be quite tough but yes, its possible. The tough part is that you need to adapt the Obsiv curve and fuse it with your current MJFame curve. So instead of going lear up to your MJFame curve value you have to turn that into an increasing stairstep curve. So yes its possible, but it may require quite some time to correctly change and adjust the curve.

Hey OD1N. Pyro from the XIM forums here. Can you explain to me why COD needs the extra step with hip? I just use regular hip and then use my ads config as the transition profile and then use auxiliary 1 as my final ads profile.

Hey, the extra step is due to CoD having an ADS Delay unlike any other game (except for RDR2). So the booster can only last for as long as the ADS delay is happening (in which the game still uses the HIP mechanic). Once the ingame ADS animation is done the game switches to the ADS mechanic. This is why the CoD booster setup requires the booster sub config to use the HIP translator and the duration equals the ADS delay of the weapon you are using :).

Your game probably isnt forced into a controller only mode (if that even exists). I assume your game briefly turned into M/K mode which deactivated the aim assist. This can happen with another pair of mouse and keyboard (or just a mouse or keyboard) is connected to the PC. Try to research if there is a way to force the game into controller mode.

@@emp_ho2620 A common issue with PC games are dual inputs. The game can switch on the fly between M/K and controller. When the switch occurs, you no longer get aim assist. By intentionally forcing a game into controller mode you avoid that. Steam has that with the Big Picture Mode for example.

@@fiinrii_9283 The main issue with soldier is that the aim assist slowdown doesnt reduce the recoil. So you can spend hours mastering the recoil and build up muscle memory but once you aim onto a target and the aim assist is active you will have to move down your mouse much more due to the slowdown. Im not sure if theres a fix for that and if i do an anti recoil approach it would only work for either the regular HIP mode or when aiming onto a target, but not for both :(. Plus when you go for the target approach your crosshair will permanently move down while you shoot when you arent on target. Really weird approach they did on the console...

@@XIMCentral exactly! The target approach feels terrible .. I’m temporarily using 1.35 k/d ratio (on a Hip sub-config activated by left click) only for soldier, but still not that good due to aim assist slowdown and the “tiny” horizontal recoil

@@fiinrii_9283 Yes exactly, im really scratching my head on that one and think that they just oversaw that. Any other console game that has weapon recoil AND aim assist slowdown will reduce the recoil accordingly when being on target so your muscle memory for recoil control isnt affected :/.

In general you can always untick the inherit box and manually check if all settings are as they should be for that sub config then.

Die HIP Werte in die ADS Config eintragen und dann eine "neue" ADS Config per Unterconfig erstellen :). Dein XIM wechselt dann von der HIP config in die ADS Config welche während der Zoom-Animation den Aim Assist boostet. Sobald die Animation vorbei ist wird deine neue ADS Unterconfig aktiviert.

Hey, for Apex Legends you only put it into the green ADS config and the red one will be your normal ADS setup. For the best muscle memory dont use smoothing as well as most other advanced settings (except for synchronization). This is why those features are only used for a short amount of time while you zoom in with your weapon.

Yes that is true if the rival 600 can only be configured via the mouse driver. There are also mice which dont need a PC to be configured (a lot of Zowie mice for example).

You will only need an external power supply if your devices are really really hungry, which i think doesnt apply to the ducky. My ducky keyboard at least doesnt need any additional electricity.

It mainly helps to get your aim onto target while you start to zoom with your weapon. It wont penalize you if you want to stay in the ADS mode for a longer time or if you want to track enemies. It basically only helps you to directly get onto target :).

OW doesnt have an ADS config so I had to use a sub config in the video for that. So just regard it as a regular ADS config. Which trick is better is up to you and depends on your playstyle. Id say try both for a few games and then decide which one you prefer :).

MJFame is a similar approach but is used all the time. The main difference id say is that the MJFame config also works with mice that dont offer more than 800 dpi. This trick wouldnt work with very low dpi values :).

Hey, you can find more in-depth explanations in the comments of other viewers under the video but you basically transfer your ADS config into a new sub config and then add the booster settings to your (former!) ADS config with translator set to HIP.

Yes it does but that doesnt necessarly mean you will become an even better player. Not everyone will play better with more aim assist, those who already have a really good mouse aim will do better by reducing the aim assist as it interferes with their raw mouse movements more than that they benefit from it.

I havent tried this trick with a XIM4 so i cannot confirm if it works or not. Some viewers have reported to attempt it with a XIM4 but no one has responded back with any feedback yet. For the XIM4 you would basically only use the curve and ignore the smoothing part. This is what you can do with most XIM Apex configs too btw, just ignore the XIM Apex specific features as those are usually preset on the XIM4 and cannot be changed.

A config contains 6 sub configs so you should have enough, 1x hip, 1x ads, 1x healing, 1x grenade, 1x inventory and 1x looting. Theres no option to add more sub configs, if you want more then share your feedback in the XIM Forum so it can be considered for future firmware releases :).

Please work with titan 2 on fixing the audio bug. When using both adapters at the same time it creates horrible audio bug.

This is most likely a Titan problem but you can try the following: Certain headsets tend to have issues in the 1000hz mode, so if you are on Xbox try the XIM audio compatibility mode (only on Xbox) and if that doesnt help try to reduce the XIM polling rate to 125hz to see if that makes a difference.

It depends on the PC game, a lot of PC games offer aim assist for controller players (the XIM classifies as a controller). Though there are expections such as Rainbow Six, CSGO, ... As for the OW question, just create a sub config that handles your ADS. See my Updated OW config video on how to do that if you arent sure.

Ok this will be quite a complicated setup then haha. You would basically use this booster first (first sub config) and after that you add the year0 sub configs. So the setup will go from HIP to Booster to ADS (year0) to year0 sub config (if you dont use the year0 trick in your ADS config already). But yes you can use both at the same time, it will just take a while to setup. Alternatively just add the curve and smoothing to your year0 config and always play with it to have even more aim assist, though i think its better to not do that.

Hey, for CoD, because it has an ADS delay, you put your HIP settings into your ADS config and you remove the delay in it as well as switch the translator mode to HIP. Then create a new sub config and make it your ADS config which includes the delay and the ADS translator.

Hey, the problem with CoD is that it has activation and deactivation delays so this trick has to consider those or else the setup wont work. CoD will continue to use the HIP translator after you press the ADS button until the ADS animation has finished, because of that your booster config has to use your HIP settings (including the HIP translator) or else you have have a sensitivity jump as your XIM is using the wrong translator for a short time. So your booster config is using your HIP settings and its duration equals your former ADS actovatopm delay value. After that your XIM will use your ADS config which had to be moved into a new sub config.

@@cwolf5964 Yes thats normal, your brain expects a faster turn due to the physical mouse movements but on the screen you dont perceive a change. This then feels like a slowdown. This is one of the limitiations of console games and the XIM cannot do anything against that. Either reduce your XIM Sensitivity or move your mouse at a slower speed to prevent this.

Hey, the curve is for the ADS mode BUT you can of couse also use it for the HIP mode if you want more aim assist. I would maybe recommend to not use a curve with increasing step size though but a constant stairstep-size :). In CoD you dont really shoot a lot from the HIP most of the time so the curve might not be that useful for the HIP mode.
