@@refusiblee Since its meant to give a better aim assist behavior its tough to say what the best value is since everyone prefers a different amount of aim assist. Id say try 3 significantly different values for 2-3 games to find out which one works the best for you.

Try a few different values and see what kind of aim assist feeling suits your playstyle the most :). So my brother, just thought I would give a new Fortnite season update. So after some still unknown reason, my base setting changed, my entire load out was "kaput." So I did try your suggested settings, and while I definitely see the advantages, wasn't for me. So back I went, step by step to get my settings in order. Again, I work full time with only sundays off so not nearly the gaming time I wish I could. But happy to say after the painstaking readjustment, I'M BACK BABY! Again using your guides, "Stella got his/her groove back!"*(is that an outdated reference? Damn I'm old!) 1st game tonight! Victory Royal my babies!!! And No, I did not fly around for 20 minutes. I Won, dare I say, "Old school!" I would share my load out but I'm being completely earnest when I say I would be doing you an injustice. The only reason I have found success with my limited gameplay time is that I took it step by step, following this wise Sage's wisdom he so kindly bestowed upon us to completely customize my Loadout to my dexterity and reaction time. Take the time to fine tune; and it will take time, couple of hours really. And you to can earn yourself the new Snowman umbrella. Thanks again brother for the time you take to make these vids. if you asked me to I'd be more than happy to share my loadout. But taking the time to make your controls customized for your personal play style is the whole reason to own Xim Apex and watch these marvelous vids to know each step it takes. Thank you again and again my brother!!!

So if steady aim is used to help you enter and exit the aim assist bubble then how does it increase aim assist without also degrading it?

Steasy aim doesnt increase the aim assist, if anything it will reduce it. At moderate values steady aim will do nothing to the aim assist except for changing the force you need to enter or to leave the bubble. Higher values will start to also reduce the aim assist.

For flick shots its all about the sensitivity and your muscle memory, dont use any of the advanced settings but train your aim to make flick shots. Thats the best and imo only way to consistently hit flickshots.

Love all your vids thanks. This video while im sure is helpful to most didnt help me. My sensitivity is just too slow when following your tutorial. I've always played on a high sensitivity and through the years have trained my Precision aim muscle memory to just compensate for it.

Hey, thats why i usually say that everyone should go with their own sensitivity. I know my sensitivity is slow, and it actually will be twice as slow for you since i use XIM Link in all my tutorials. XIM Link effectively doubles my mouse sensitivity, so dont copy my sensitivities 1:1 but use your own one. In future XIM Tutorials i might correct that XIM Link influence so everyone can see the actual XIM sensitivity.

@@coaltonwaggoner3850 Hey, usually in all my config tutorials i show my button bindings before i switch to the ADS menu. Also my xim sensitivity for HIP and ADS should also be in the videos, i use 3200 dpi for pretty much all of my videos. Ill make sure to make it easier to spot though for the next tutorial videos! Also i have nav and this is what i would recommend for nav users: the L3, L2 and L1 are the most important buttons on the sony nav as you can press those while walking. Therefore theres buttons have to be bound to actions that you want to do while moving your character. Jumping, Melee, Character Abilities and so on. The less important buttons that are fine to be pressed while stading still go to the other nav buttons (stats-screen and so on). Any other button that you want to do while moving your character has to be bound to the mouse then. As for aux configs, yes this works with the nav and your mouse too. Just remove one of the less important buttons from your sony nav or mouse, for example the options/menu button. You can press that on your controller too if you need it. Or the PSN/XBL button. That way you have 1-2 free buttons for exactly that. Also it helps to use a mouse like the g502 which has plenty of buttons that you can bind.

@@Sohikun Yes it does affect it, but with most XIM values the benefits might outweigt the disadvantages. Id say try it out or at least a few games before switching back, that way you can tell the best if its a feature you like, and if the value is good or not :).

Hey, for BF4 you can actually deactivate the ingame aim assist which will only reduce it but not fully deactivate it. This is probably the best way to do that. If you dont want to do that then try a value of 3-5 and maybe switch to sync off as well.

Hello first of all, you produce excellent videos and instructions with my respect. What about xim4? I constantly hear synchronizing etc. the function is not available with xim4 and steady aim can only be switched on or off. How can I transfer all things to xim4?

The XIM4 has most of these features already inbuilt but you cann change them, means they run on a fixed value. The reason is that the XIM4 doesnt have enough memory anymore to add customization options for these features. So overall you can perfectly copy a XIM Apex config by just ignoring the Apex specific features, those are usually already preset on your XIM4 with a very good value.

I don't know why they updated it and took away all of the cool features like boosting and steady aim, activation and deactivation delays for ADS, and whatever else they had. Please XIM, bring it all back in the next update, thanks!

Hey, those features are still present in the current xim version. I assume your phone "downgraded" to the old xim manager from the app store as it thought its a more recent version. So while your xim firmware might still have those features your manager is outdated and cannot access those. Download and install the latest manager .apk to get those features again :). Also post me the firmware versions that your xim manager shows you in the top right options when you click on info/about.

Does Steady Aim also act like boost in a way? Since with Steady Aim your mouse will no longer go below the number you set it to (other than 0)? Also what if you use a boost value that translates higher than the first number you set your Steady Aim too? Will it just skip it and go to the next multiple?

Hey, steady aim doesnt work like boost as boost basically increases the deadzone in an artificial way. Steady aim only changes which angles are prefered when using your mouse around. So steady aim doesnt increase your sensitivity in any way, it just makes it easier for you to move your mouse horizonal or vertical.

Can you do an updated settings video on siege? In PvP modes there's no aim assist so I wonder how effective the analog and steady aim features would be.

Those three new features would do nothing for RB6 as it doesnt have aim assist, you would just reduce your overall mouse accuracy. I dont recommend to use those new features in RB6, which is why my current RB6 config tutorial is still up to date.

@@Hybred Yes it can help with jitter/stutter but there are better xim features to solve a mouse stutter. I think the best way would be to switch aim assist on and play a little bit around with the xim settings to see if you like it, simulate analog behavior hardly reduces your accuracy so you can basically always use it, unless you want to keep extremly sharp strafe movements.

Hey, what do you mean with the brak and the very fast mouse movements? Do you experience a mouse speed slowdown when you move the mouse very fast? Please check if your xim shows a red blinking in those situations.

What mouse dpi and xim sensitivity are you using? Also your ingame BO4 controller settings are on maximum right?

@@Mogosh Those are reasonable settings, i wouldnt change those. In that case try to move your mouse at a slower speed on the mousepad. The maximum turnspeed of console games are one of the limitations of a console compared to a PC, theres no way you can change or alter that. Imo the best settings are sync default, 500 or 1000hz on the mouse and the xim, no ballistic curve but a bit of boost. Around 300-500 boost will make the game feel a lot better. Any other adjustments are not necessary, just bind your buttons and adjust your xim sensitivity. You can use the Xbox pubg st..I have r6 siege for ps4 and xb1 and have mistakenly played with the Xbox r6 st on ps4 . I couldn't tell a difference between the two except for sensitivity which will need to be tweaked

Start with the first one and work yourself through the list as that way you ensure to not influence your overall mouse accuracy too much.

@@d1sable The best feature for BO4 is still the simulate analog behavior, although you cannot set it to a very high value as otherwise youll cancel your sprint or have a random ads fire bug after sprinting this feature doesnt degrade your aim accuracy in any way yet reduces the aim assist bubble. On top of SAB you can then add minimal Boost or Steady Aim. That way you will not notice any negative effects yet you got a better aim assist behavior.

I actually love the default sync with no curves or SAB or SA or anything but in the intrest of trying to get 'even better' im open to trying all of these features. Im sure they are very good for others but as soon as i try even SAB at 50 it instantly feels different and i perform sprightly worse so i switch back. Maybe im just very used to my config.

It helps with the aim assist bubble issue. That is like a barrier around the target that makes it difficult to break into/out of. Steady aim helps with that. So it doesnt really increase or decrease the aim assist, but instead changes how the aim assist behaves around and on the target.

With common sync and Fortnite id go maybe 2-3 but not higher, Fortnite benefits much more from using Simulate Analog Behavior instead of Steady Aim. A value of around 100 works really well with the game (+/- 25).

People reported that it doesnt work if you click the link with a non-iOS device. Also apple will send you the code to your apple id mail within up to 1-4 days i think, it can take a while.

Hey, if you want to use the features from this firmware then you need to manually update your xim manager via the link shown here: community.xim.tech/index.php?topic=72146.0 for iOS you do it via the apple testflight app, for android just download the apk manually and install it. If it doesnt download then hold down the link as if you would try to mark it or open it as a new tab. You should then get a popup with download/install. Also please update your xim too, both xim and xim manager have to be updated.

Check if you assigned hotkeys to your config or a global switch button to cycle through configs. Also check if you maybe press the dpi buttons on your mouse or its profile button to switch to a different mouse profile. Another reason could be sub configurations that you set in your xim config, when you activate those the sensitivity could be increased.

@@The7MooDyGamer The g502 has onboard memory, which means that you can save your mouse changes onto the mouse itself. This will then carry over to the xim as well. If a mouse doesnt have onboard memory then its changes will only work on the PC and it will fall back to a default value when connected to the xim. This could be the case with your friends mouse, he should try and check if theres an option in the mouse driver to save the changes onto the mouse memory (if the mouse has that).
