You know what, I’m so glad the Hermits have stepped up to join MCC since the toxic and drama filled Dream SMP crew have left it. Honestly, Techno, Tubbo, and Phil were the best of them and most everyone else was constantly toxic towards each other when losing games or overall just loud and frankly obnoxious. The Hermits are polite, decent role models, good team mates, responsible, mature,…just overall they’re better people to feature on such a popular Tournament. I never really realized how great they were until I saw the Tommy, Mumbo, Grian collab vid and ever since, I’ve been a major Hermitcraft fan. Love you all and so glad you’re participating and filling the gaps left from some less savory characters.

Xisuma finding both green and gold key within a room of each other is kind of surprising. I reckon if you had more experience, you would have noticed the gold altar (similar to the one the green key was on) across the parkour. The chest asking for 4 sand was a shortcut/checkpoint area for the parkour to the gold key. With the right timing one can see the altar and key from about 2:45:57 to 2:46:01, which makes the fact that X then walks into the path with the indicator for the gold vault more surprising. Just trying to find a time to show the markers and notice that at 2:52:41 X finds gold vault. I would like to see you in more MCC Xisuma, to see how quickly you adapt and learn the games as you did better than I honestly expected and would like to see how you go when you have a better understanding of the games.

For your question about chat colors for supporting teams, no idea if people regularly change nametag colour for mcc, that was my first time watching mcc, someone else suggested it in chat and i thought it was a great way to show support. Pink Parrots' chat fit their colour too, so you're likely right about the tradition. You brought up retrying some games, so are you considering doing Mcc again in the future?

As someone who’s a regular watcher, yup, the chat color change is a staple of Minecraft tournaments! I first encountered it in PeteZahHutt’s chat back when MCCs were in single digits, but it’s possible it predates him and the original source was a lost VOD.
