Thanks. It was a good tip about prying off the ones in the back. My trunk wasn't as bad as this one because it would stay up. But would fall once tip away from fully open.

I changed these on my XJ40 last week. They are easier to change than on the X300! The hardest part was removing 1.5 foot of snow on the car!

Yeah the design on the XJ40 makes it so much easier to replace the lift support struts. I’ll be make a video on that tomorrow. Fun fact: I’ve never seen snow ❄️
