XK8 Air Intake Box Reinstall

I moved back to the OEM air box due to running issues with cold air intake. I had a random rough idle when engine was hot and bad throttle response. The idle issue was later found to be ignition coil failure (see other video for more information). The car did have better throttle response and acceleration due to cooler air getting in after OEM reinstalled and coil replaced. I will look into making my own air dam later to see if the cold air filter can be used again.

how much air flow is aROUND THE HEADLIGHT,,,,will trim block it,,

The Intake tube goes threw the fender and into the front wheel well. This will give better cooler air in my option and why I switched back to just a factory airbox with a fitted K&N. There is a tone of heat in the engine bay and a cold air intake would be fine if tubes where used to get it down in the wheel well.

As per you question little to no air flow around the light it has seals.
