Glad to have you back John. Great ideas there. The stereo in my 97 XK8 is woeful but I’d be loathed to lose the originality of the dash. This looks like a solution that I could consider. Cheers!

Thanks Gerard. It certainly made a difference in my T5. I have also added the matched sub amplifier and 10 inch sub in the van which has taken it a step further. I am currently exploring more ides to improve the sound further in the Jag.

Hi John, I do like the look of the original radio unit, so taking your advice, I’ve changed the 4x speakers, an improvement, but now going for the rest of your advice and ordered the amp and ISO adapter, will fit in the spring… Thank you

Hi Steven. I had thought about trying to record the difference, but I suspect the microphone would not be good enough to pick it up. Also I think my camera would adjust the recording levels and offset the volume difference.
