The actor playing the role of Jung said that at the end of the drama, the director focused more on the second lead instead of his character, he also said that many important scenes featuring him were filmed but not shown in the drama. The viewers were disappointed by the ending, as the webtoon on which this drama is based was suppose to focus on Jung.

The actors that played Yoo Jung and Hong Seol in this Kdrama were PERFECT. I wish they were hired to work on another Kdrama starring opposite each other but it's been 8 years, so I doubt it will happen. This will be the one and only time they act opposite each other and ngl its kinda sad. The actors were brilliant in this.

0:55 one mistake from the adaptation. hong's supposed to grab jung's hands back by instinct and not by thinking abt it. she had a tendency of suddenly grabbing his hands back after letting go because of her trauma

Come to think of it, the reason why Seol always acted like that (why she always grabbed hands that are reaching out for her) was not even discussed in the drama. Because they focused too much on Baek Inho to the point that Hong Seol just looked like a side character 🙄

He was the calmest character among the other characters including the second leads with their meddling and annoying behaviour which was a lot creepier. And their relationship wasnt toxic at all but far from it. He was just looking out for her in his own meticulous way...which is all anybody could do for their loved ones

Loved the drama so much. still one of my favourite one. Although I hate how from the middle part they gave more attention to second lead like if we compare the screen time with main lead and second lead it would be confusing like who's the main lead here? Hence the controversy ig cause the main lead said alot of scenes weren't shown in the drama. And their relationship was realistic. And it's one of the drama where the guy steps back from the relationship. Shows a different pov. Also this is one of the rare times where I hated a second lead character lol. That character was really annoying like I understand his emotions but that conversation with someone about his friend/brother ruined everything and somehow showed wrong side of character and I'm sure they both regrets.

@@Pingggponggg It is not toxic. Yes, his character was a little weird. But it is explained in the drama why that is. He was being watched his whole life which is more creepy. And he hurt her but that was before they were together . After falling in love with her, he cared for her, loved her and never hurt her. His love was true so the female lead also loved him back and accepted him as he was. They love each other truly. They accept each other as they are and want to spend their life together. Their relationship was healthy from the start to the end when they started dating. It was not toxic at all.

This is one of my most fav dramas, but that's not important, the drama portrayed that sociopathy is actually not a problem and just a part of you, a part of your personality. It's scary how sociopaths can turn out if they have no company or interactions while growing up, even worse a dad with the same mental type. Jeong was completely destroyed, he was barely holding himself together. Seol didn't just date him, she showed him that he'll not be able to hold himself together if this keeps going on. He broke. He'll need time to heal. Maybe a long time. Maybe 5 years, or maybe even 20. But he deserves that time.
