@@BleedingUranium Eskel and Geralt share common history and so on, they are 'classmates' so to speak :), both being trained at the same time and Eskel is said to resemble him like a brother (in the books :)), they are childhood friends and all that. Hehe, the very first mention of Eskel in the books is when Geralt recalls episode from their childhoods :). "Geralt watched in silence. Once, years ago, when a little snot-faced brat following his studies in Kaer Morhen, the Witchers’ Settlement, he and a friend, Eskel, had captured a huge forest bumblebee and tied it to a jug with a thread. They were in fits of laughter watching the antics of the tied bumblebee, unti l Vesemir, their tutor, caught them at it and tanned their hides with a leather strap." Witcher, The Last Wish So they should have a lot to talk about :).

I wish that the next Witcher game is focused around Kaedwen and the rebuilding of Kaer Morhen to its previous splendor. Depending on your world state, Letho could be one of the witchers helping rebuild it as he hides incognito. This way we can always have character created witchers.

New mutants is something that is unnecessary, heck making the character creator a difficulty setting where your origin is a difficulty is interesting. For example: -Easy: Mage -Normal: Witcher -Hard: Knight Errant A new monster slaying order reminiscent of what Siegfried envisioned.

Eskel is one of my favorite characters from the books and I loved his game adaptation-Netflix is dead to me. A man a few words but his presence changed every interaction with other people in the books. I STILL wish there was more dialogue/quests with Eskel and Lambert. I loved seeing Geralt interact with his brothers in arms

There is one "rare" sentence Lambert says in the quest "The Final Trial" when going to old Speartip, there is one ledge in a cave, where Lambert will give you hand, to help you get up there. If you jump back down, he is somewhat unhappy about that..

That ”old hill folk tune ” is kind of a reference to polish “górale “ which are people in Poland that live close to the mountains hence the name “hill folk” (górale in polish dub). They have loads of folk tunes there, so we can assume that Eskel is originally from the mountains and that part of “Poland” in the games

Eskel is the favorite among my long list of loved characters in The Witcher. Happy you made this video as I didn’t know of many of these dialogues. The one about them being brothers I think I got on my first playthrough a long time ago, but that was long before I read the books. Hearing it again now makes my heart melt. I really wish we had even more Eskel related quests. Why does Lambert get a giant quest but Eskel doesn’t? I like both but Eskel is the ultimate, almost a bit goofy badass with a big heart. I’ve always wished for a future Witcher game to be about him, though I highly doubt it. The dialogue about the katakan gives me some glimmer of hope

A setting within a new Witcher School would be cool and offer a lot of possibilities. The problem I find, is that the world of the Witcher has been very brutal to the Witchers and they are nearly extinct. The books talked about it and the games too. A new school just popping out and thriving feels unlikely.

Also, all the Witchers are ashamed of their past. Forcing children to undergo the trials, having most of them die in agony. Would any of the surviving Witchers really want that to return? Seems very out of character for them. Lambert himself hated the fact he had his life chosen for him, why would he subject the same fate on other children.

In the Biography, Eskel never abandoned Kaher Mohren completely, he always come back to take care of it, not like Lambert, you brought a very interesting point about Eskel trying to develop his witcher knowledge, It would be an excellent strat for a new Saga if Excel accept to help the small number of Cat School Witchers who are trying to survive and improve their damaged reputation and to develop their trial of grasses which we know was not good, and since they don't have a place to train, I don't like Eskel to leave the Wolf School, but certainly he can help others until they stand on their feet and rescue their own place of school, all we need is a Mage for this, Eskel didn't have a true love partner, and that would be a nice angle to handel the start of the new Saga, and don't forget, there is a Vampire laying down in Novigrad waiting to come out, the knowldege of Eskel will be a fourtune for the new Witchers against this coming danger

@@squidmanfedsfeds5301 yup, Manticores were suppose to appear in Kaer Mohren in W3, but were cut out. Last time Geralt killed a Manticore from what we know, was in a flashback in Witcher 3, where he killed one un Blue Mountains to survive winter there.

Another thing that could support the idea of Eskel starting a new witcher school is a dialogue line he has when the three witchers and Yen are discussing putting Uma through the trial. He implies there was no reason for them to take on new apprentices before but now that they were going to do a trial the witchers should later discuss making new witchers among themselves.

Hey xLetalis, I was thinking about what you said at the end, about Lambert and Keira Metz starting their own Witcher school and I just can't see it... With how angry Lambert was about not having the choice whether or not to become a Witcher & how furious he was when he found out *Papa Vesemir* decided to keep sad Albert 'every Grampa out there's got an attic full of torture devices' (or something similar, I think), I just can't see it myself either. It would be an interesting new concept sure but I'd be shocked if CDPR went down this route. Great upload as always friend, keep em coming! It's awesome to see how your channel has grown!

I already played once more time (you know how this things happens xD) , and i just got all things that you mentioned, the bug of roach and decide to not reload and i got the dialog about the reward, also most dialogues that you show there. Eskel is a very rich character and i agree that is very logic and also interesting that Eskel in future move to someplace and make some roots deep as vesemir did in kaer moern. Also i think that W4 symbolism about the Lynx is about the cat in snow takin reference of ciri medalion of the cat, and the white forst.

the "shoot the wings !" part is probably from a very early concept where monsters had parts that could be severely damaged/destroyed i think, i think there is some leftovers in the code of such, like iirc a mula design, which is referenced in the wiki, and seemed to have cost based critical hit system from what i remember, something i always found weird

the bit about eskel being in the next game is pretty interesting. i think it could be him or ciri with geralt as an npc or maybe a brand new person they make into a witcher who knows. i think the ladder idea makes more sense in terms of leveling up and learning new abilities though since eskel and ciri are already extremely capable

goddamn, the fact that these witcher videos are still going strong 7 years later is a testament to how thoughtful the development for this game was. They literally thought of these different interactions between quests and accounted for them with special dialogue, to the point that most people will never see it. Details are everything.
