What I don’t understand is if joe stole the jewelry, why would he bring it back to the shop in his pockets . This video clearly says there waiting for Joe to come in , I mean wouldn’t it be the common sense to stash the evidence elsewhere. but yeah he got busted on video but it just makes sense to not carry evidence around in your pockets of all places especially if you stole from there.

The person who wanted to steal the purse is probably wasted and had too many drugs/illegal substances where she thought that was her purse and wanted to steal it. For what she did with climbing over the counter in an attempt to steal it, probably could have landed her in prison. Great job by the security guard.

He had been caught stealing long before that staged spot was filmed. By the time that was filmed he had already been caught, accepted a lesser charge plea deal and worked it out with the prosecutor's office and les to come back and film himself being "caught" for the show. List actually went to bat for him with the prosecutor's office and in court but he had to agree to filming himself in that staged sting operation. When you see Joe in that pink shirt it was edited to make it seem like it had taken place overnight but it was really filmed in about 2 hours the individuals who put him in handcuffs were investigators from the prosecutor's office and when he went out the front door out of camera range he was unhooked and allowed to leave because he had accepted a plea deal. I was there for the filming of All Seasons with RDF USA which in the final season became Zodiak media.

That's because the show is scripted. That's why it's not on TV anymore .Pawn stars is scripted along with a lot of so called reality Tv shows. Like Vanderpump rules, house hunters ,remodeling shows. There is a huge selection of reality shows that are scripted. It's not natural actions and reactions. It's done that way for ratings. Sad huh?.

The fact that every video showed Joe always "stealing" from the exact same place tells me that was staged and not a real theft.

More than likely staged I mean it is a reality show…everything is staged. I’ve heard different stories “joe put his two weeks and wanted to make his departure shocking from the producers and production team, joes contract wasn’t renewed or something like that, etc”

They very well could have changed their protocol for dealing with this kind of situation. Remembering that these two cases did not happen the same day. This would leave plenty of time to decide ways to address this if the issue presents itself again...🤷

@@JaviusSama that 100% was real theft but the quote-unquote sting aspect of it was not something that was done overnight it was filmed in a roughly two-hour period as part of an agreement between Les, the prosecutor's office, and Joe. By the time you see the clip of what was supposed to be closing time with Joe in the pink shirt he had already been caught, accepted a lesser charge plea deal through the prosecutor's office, and agreed to film the store catching him on this show was staged and I was there for all of it as an employee of RDF USA which in the final season became Zodiak media.
