Great video , I usually buy the gammon joints from Asda & cook in the slow cooker. I freeze the extra cooked slices and thaw out when needed. I love air fryers & have bought a Cosori Turboblaze. I shall cook the next one using your method with honey. I like to thaw some of the slices to add o pasta

@@GrizzlyUK1 Had a look on google cooked gammon keeps frozen for 4 months, so you only need to cook the joint once 😀

Great job mate. Big pike of chips and a couple of eggs epic I reckon. I think I would remove the plastic and tie it, but that's just me. If I was asked to share, it I would be stoked. Have a good Christmas 🎄

Little tip from a retired chef, when you get your foil ready add your herbs etc to the foil first and then rub the gammon onto the herbs, that way you are not handling your condiments with raw meat on your hands Other than that it looked good. You have a new subscriber. All the best mate.

How salty was it, sometimes it is overpowering
@Grizzly-UKАй бұрын
It was okay salt wise not overpowering, I know what you mean I have had joints that were far to salty this one was fine, when u seasoned it I didn't add any salt, hope this helps..
@karlos55555Ай бұрын
I'm not sure I'd cook it with the plastic still on!
@Grizzly-UKАй бұрын
You can obviously remove it if you wish to, I think it will lose its shape, as I've experienced in the past. Some reviews say remove it, some say leave it on, so it's down to personal choice..
