If you're looking to tackle some serious weather conditions and not be limited by Mother Nature then an XO has to be on your short list. This company continues to be brave with their design and aim high when it comes to quality.
My filming isn't perfect in this video because i was early in the stages of learning how to do this for you guys when we filmed it but hopefully you'll get a feel for this serious ocean machine!

Its definately cool/interesting/manly but who is it built for, who is the target group of buyers. First thought I had seeing it was a failed military contract

@@Josh-hr5mc haha… when you see it in white she’s less aggressive. I’ve actually sold an XO DFNDR which is even more crazy and the owner rang me to say he’s had the best summer ever. But yes these guys have specific missions in mind and seem to already have other boats for different purposes. The guys I know are using XO’s for surfing hard to reach breaks, spear fishing, diving and commuting between houses. I can also imagine these as great tenders to expedition yachts and support vessels… that type of thing

Crazy how times have changed right! I've only been boating 30 years but compared to the 90's it's a completely different world now with the social boating scene.

Yes in some shots it is, I could see that while flying the drone, also just this design has a lot of deep V forward which also gives you that impression so it;s a bit of both.

Not sure I understand you but for some context XO was around before Axopar and Axopar was actually inspired by XO back in the day 👍

@@BoatLife_DansBoatLife Well yeah, the guy who designed XOs left and founded Axopar, so no wonder they're quite similar (just the XO in aluminium and Axopar in plastic). BTW then that same guy left Axopar and went on to found Saxdor... And now I'm not sure if I understood correctly that he's back at XO designing them all or just as a consultant. It's hard to keep track. The people who own XO Boats also now apparently own Axopar or at least are major investors in it, or at least I heard about such plans years ago. What's nice about them is that there's no shady foreign ownership of these companies (purely European and Finnish just as they say, not secretly Chinese, Russian or Bahrain-owned or something), it's all a family owned investing company based on people who have made long careers in top European companies and then have been involved in investing in companies like these for decades.
