Your time with your daughter, is beautiful! It takes me back to when my son was 3-4yrs old, I would shoot my compound bow in the back yard, always making sure he was behind me. He loved to watch me shoot, always asking, are you done Daddy? Because he wanted ti run to the target, to retrieve the arrows! No way he could pull out the carbon arrows, but his determination was awesome! I now have a 7 yr old daughter,(gymnastics) I bought her a recurve bow for her 5th birthday, only shot it twice, but hit the target! Now made the USA competition gymnastics team, so no time for archery! I warms my heart to see you with your little girl, and hear her laugh when you throw! That's parenting done right! I only saw this video, because my old roommate, left some red tassled spikes in my closet, and I have never thrown them. I'm looking forward to learning the no spin method at almost 52! I would love to see more videos, of you and your daughter, you seem like a wonderful Mother!

Aw, thank you! I haven't been able to do any weapons related videos because of how busy I've become. However, she's about ready to start knife throwing. She's getting really good at throwing balls around the house. :) Thank you for your comment, and I hope my next video on this channel will be of me throwing with her! Or a transparent shield that is stuck in the ground so she can watch but not get hit with bouncing spikes or knives. Might be a little price but your daughter's life and bond with you is irreplacable.

I have a play pen, but I never used it really-- I don't like the thought of "caging" her. :) But she's old enough now where she likes to climb and move. But, I think the future, she'll have a play area in the yard where she can entertain herself while I throw... or I think I'll make a small target for her so we can throw together. :D

Aw thanks! That's Charlie. If i'm sitting down outside, he thinks I'm going to throw his ball for him, which I wasn't. :) And then when I was whip cracking, he thinks the loud noise is hurting me in some way, so he wants to make sure I'm okay, whereas, my other two dogs try to get as far away as they can. He's a great dog! Hope to post more when I get the time to edit!
