XOP Ultra Series Edge Saddle Platform Review- A must have for mobile or run and gun saddle hunting

I have this and the Tethrd Predator. First year saddle hunting but I’ve got three hunts on the Predator. I hate it. Its too small for me and it’s not comfortable. My next hunt will be my second hunt on the XOP. Its a lot roomier and more comfortable but the earlier comment is correct it is heavy, twice the weight of Predator.

Bought the hunting kit that comes with everything and love it...only thing I did was make some aiders for the first two sticks and can set my platform at 20ft. Great product killed a nice 130 class 9 point thus year with it

It's difficult to reach down and get to the bow rope. It's my second favorite on market right now

Use a retractable dog leash and have attached to you ....best thing I ever did

Only thing I'd have to say otherwise is to make sure your strap initially is parallel to the platform and keep the platform up when synching the strap tight then set the platform down into position. My next step is to step on top of the ibeam with 1 foot and with the other foot pull the platform back up with your other foot and the platform with bite into the tree 100% better.

Its heavy compared to other platform. Know that other then that not bad.

i'd rather hunt out of a mobile hang on u can't hunt much cover with a saddle
