DIY Hot Cocoa Cups! Easy and Cheap!

These are so cute! A quick suggestion to help avoid breaking the cups, that I’ve seen on similar videos. Cut the cup down the side first, then tape it closed. Remove the tape once hardened and it opens the side enough to simply lift the chocolate cup Out. Also, if you don’t want thick lids….for a quick option, simply use a piping bag with melted chocolate and cover the ingredients, the sprinkle with mini marshmallows and mYbe some Crushed up candy cane.

I made these last night and they came out GREAT! Thank you for sharing this adorable idea. I coated the cup with chocolate twice (put in the freezer in between each layer) because my first layer looked thin. Turned out perfect and gave me the idea to try using the red and white candy melts next time to try to get a candy cane effect...I know what everyone is getting for Christmas this year! Thanks again:)

New to cups and bombs , although I make the hell out of some cake pops ! I literally think these are adorable , yet wondered what to do with them once they’re that cute …. Then you dropped it in a mug of warm Milk !!!! Idk why I’m so amazed , but great presentation , in explaining and showing what you was doing . Love it .

Just a helpful tip cut the cups down like a seem then tape so u can tear off cup chocolate cup easier..hope this helps. Thanks fir sharing:)

These are amazing! I imagine these adorable little cups are much easier to make than the bombs and you don’t need to purchase the mold (that you’ll likely only use once or twice). Thank you for sharing your idea! I just purchased many pounds of Belgian chocolate on Amazon for chocolate covered pretzel rods and spoons to make as gifts for the officers I work with, but these are much more impressive! I just this second thought about making these and adding the chocolate spoon to go with the cup! I’m excited now!

Precut the cup then tape it together, once the chocolate is ftozen its easier to open at the split❤
