I have a 2019 M3 with Xpel Stealth and black gloss chrome delete inside and out. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!! It makes washing the car so easy. No scratches. Self healing. It makes my car stand out in a sea of Teslas in the Bay Area. Would 100% recommend it!!

I just gave my black Model 3 a full Xpel STEALTH matte wrap last week. Took almost 3 days for the shop to finish the job. The price was really good too after getting quotes from over 10 places in the Inland Empire here in Southern California. I paid $4500 in cash. Got a couple hundred dollars off because I paid in cash. The car looks sooo good in matte. Imo, the matte look, it looks good if you have a black or blue Tesla. At my kids school, there are so many Teslas. It was hard to find my car. Now, not so much. 😁

Good choice on the wrap. I did the front of my 3 in the clear obviously, and recently did the ceramic coating myself at home. Super easy, highly recommend people do it if you’re able to. Keep in mind if you mess up the coating you’ll have to machine polish it off and If you don’t have a machine buffer you’ll have high spots that you will have to take somewhere to get removed. For those asking about price to do the front of our 3 which included the side mirrors cost me around $1500. The whole car I received a quote of $3500. Vehicles vary as far as cost based on amount of material used, and labor involved. If you’re doing the inside door panels, if they have to remove body panels to wrap it will add to the cost. Also for those that are interested in doing this I highly suggest that you get a paint correction service done before you wrap/coat your vehicle if it needs it. That film and/or ceramic coating locks in any imperfections and swirl marks your paint has for years. If you can live with permanent swirl marks that’s fine, if you can’t get a correction done before you wrap it.

We did full body PPF on our Model 3, Suntek Ultra. So far, it's done great in 27k miles, two rock strikes on the front bumper that made it through the Film, but the paint was protected. For the Model S, we did only a Front PPF in XPEL and Feynlab Ceramic (3yr) coating. In 10k miles, the Xpel has taken two rock strikes, one on the hood and one on the Passenger side mirror. Both strikes went through the film and damaged the paint. We get the X delivered on Thrusday, we will be doing a full front PPF, but again in Suntek Ultra, but with their new 11.5mil thickness film. It will also receive a full Feynlab Ceramic Self Heal Plus (7yr).

We are going to the lake norman sun stopper and are getting xpel ppf but can't decide on stealth or the gloss. We have a white multi-coat model x p100d. What do you think we should do? We are also going to get some tint on the front windows and are going to dechrome the car.

I had issues with the Autoflex clear due to being an early product. The Xpel has a warranty that you can't beat. But if you are going for a color change than do the AutoFlex express.

Doesn't damage the paint, it will look good as new underneath when you take it off.

Depends on how much of the car and what car you get done. Most people do just the front in clear and that can be between 1500-2000. With a long warranty.

can you please show us how the stealth PPF looks like in door/under the sun and maybe also showcase the difference between regular PPF ? We just ordered exact the same one and now we are pondering what kind of PPF should we get and ceramic coating. Did the shop paint correct it before they applied the PPF? how many layers did they do for ceramic coating? Is it possible that you can PM me the rough ball park on both PPF and Ceramic coating since I live in the Bayarea and do not want to get ripped off :) Keep up the great videos.

When I do the Chrome delete I will show it in the sun. It looks amazing in the stealth. If you go with Stealth you don't need to paint correct. Unless you have a bad scratch. The clear option will usually need some correction. Email me [e-mail]
