Great video. I am preparing to do this on my 2020 Model 3. I noticed at the back of both rear pockets there is a slotted indentation. The slot is toward the seat side. I will know when apart but it looks like the loop will go through the slot without a need to drill. Then using the string until a flag is attached. Anyone else try this?

I had the beast and took it back to downgrade for the AWD. AWD in my opinion is actually better from an economical standpoint. Way Better mileage in both city and highway with the AWD compared to the beast. Plus we travel a lot so the AWD just made more sense. I can see younger folks liking the beast better. We just got our AWD custom wrapped in like a metallic matte glossy black color. It looks way better than the factory color.

Im the owner of Delicious Wraps Auto Salon. I use vinyl frog regularly with great success. Many wraps are different and its just a matter of acclimating to the materials you are using.

okay i just got a new Model Y and i really want this button. It started for me just looking for a volume knob and then i discovered this thing and realized how much more useful it is. My question is.. after nearly 6+ months...does it still work well and is there *any* chance i can void any warranty when i tap into that line at all considering this is a brand new tesla purchase lol edit: also does it leave the inside console/interior light on because the door is partiallly open from its perspective? im sure its led so wont drain battery

Nov 2024 - I bought the RennStands to do tire rotations on my Model Y (LR Dual Motor). The first Jack I bought was the Harbor Freight Daytona 3 ton low profile. Do not buy the Daytona jack for use with your Rennstand! No issues with the performance or quality of the jack. Do not buy it because it does not fit between the legs of the RennStands! The flaring of the base at the lifting end is the issue. I returned it and brought my RennStand with me to the store. The Pittsburgh 3 ton low profile (SKU 70482) worked perfectly. It also has a perfect sized Jack Saddle for the lift point on the RennStand. I was able to source mine from ECS tuning, while the RennStand site and Teslarati were out of stock. Happy Hunting!
