Yes! I’m planning to film a review of that actually. I’ve had it almost 18 months now on the Raptor and about 8 months on my wife’s Tesla. Super happy with both.

Awesome! You will love Luxe, they will take great care of you. Let them know Nate sent you. Yes they can do PPF over the graphics if you’d like, or they can take them off and do something custom over the top. I wasn’t a fan of the graphics personally so I had them taken off.

Does the ceramic coating make the satin film more glossy since that’s the effect of ceramic coating? How much of the matte satin finish did you lose after applying ceramic coating?

No from what I understand it doesn’t make it more glossy, it just makes the satin stand out a little more but also really helps to keep it clean. It’s so easy to maintain.

@RaptosOfInsta When you had your Xpel Stealth done, did you have any spots that looked like bubbles, didn't look fully stuck kind of a peeled up look, or the gel didn't get pushed down so there is a patch or little white spots? Is there a settling time for it all to work itself out? Just picked mine up last night from Xpel Stealth and seeing some spots. Other than some spots it looks so nice

Not really. I remember a few very small bubbles but they disappeared after a day or two. My shop does an incredible job on the install. They wrap all the edges well and I haven’t had any issues with a bad install with them on any of my cars. I’d love to see your car with Stealth!

How long did you have the truck before you got it wrapped? I got a tiny chip up front. Just got it last week. Killing me too. Lol

I had my truck for a year and a half before doing full Xpel Stealth. Before that I had Xpel PPF on the full front end, mirrors, inside of handles, fenders, headlights and bumpers. So most of my truck was protected, but I definitely love having the full truck protected. I would recommend doing some kind of Xpel PPF as soon as you can, it's a great investment especially for these trucks that are made for going offroad. Let me know if you have any other questions.

I am looking at Xpel Stealth on my Raptor and found you. Great ride! A top installer locally told me they typically do not wrap the fender flares because they are satin and can be easily replaced if damaged, as well as they match the Stealth over Magnetic metallic which is my color. Also, they remove door handles and tailgate handles and paint satin to match PPF instead of wrapping because they claim it looks better and the thicker PPF film is too difficult to stretch around those complex curves and last without a lot of cut edges. Did your installers wrap every part of your truck? Thanks and blessings.

You also don’t want them to paint match satin, you will want everything wrapped. They won’t be able to get a close match with satin paint and it would look off. A good shop knows how to install the stealth on all parts of the truck. Be careful who you go with.

Nate, thanks for the video. I just got a Rivian in Launch Green here in SLC and am seriously thinking about getting a satin PPF just like you did on your Raptors. How much does this protect the paint from pin-striping when you take it off-road. I took my Tundra offroading just a couple times and it's covered with rocky-mountain pin stripes now. I can't stand that for the new Rivian.

No mine aren't true beadlocks, they just have the outer ring to look like a beadlock wheel. In most states a true beadlock is illegal on public roads.

Yes I did, everything is wrapped in ppf. Fenders, front and rear bumpers, grille. The fenders are a matte finish so if they get scratched they’re harder to paint match, you have to paint all of them again.

The pillars between the windows for sure, those are gloss and get scratched easily. The plastic around the mirrors I think are the only things that didn’t get wrapped. PPF doesn’t really adhere to that material.
