Not to mention that swapping doesn’t allow making a structural battery and the car is heavier and their cars are big. Real range about 250-280, real use for the 75 kWh battery. The Mona M03 delivery price: a combi of giga casting, relatively low Chinese labour costs and battery prices at an all time low?? Very smart to focus on highest Sedan energy efficiency (smaller battery set means lower price and more miles per KWh means lower electricity bills). Let's hope the longevity of the structure and mechanics of the car are up to par. XPeng is losing money unless XPeng is using that VW investment money to subsidize the cost of these cars. I believe that is what is happening. Filling these orders might eat a hole in what VW invested in them. It might buy them marketshare but will it keep them financially afloat if the car's manufacture actually costs more than they are charging??

Low powered, bare bones, cheap to build, It would make a good power wall if not a good car to drive. Tesla should make something like this and I'd buy it.

This is why there are tariff in the West, people would flood to buy this car and they don't want people to be able to buy this affordable EV. Shows how much the Western governments want to go green

Let's hope the price is 27000 AUD. But knowing the greedy importers and Australian governments. The price will be more like 50000AUD. Australians get robbed again. Why do Australians have to pay high prices for new cars? Where are the affordable city hatchbacks?

People may disagree on whether Chinese people are happy living in China, but people will not disagree that Chinese car buyers are the happiest buyers in the world. By the way, American car buyers will pay the most for the same car, and they will likely be the least happy buyers.

Unless these cars are made from recycled american cars. This could turn our trash into their new cars which they've been doing for a long time. We send barges full of trash to China and they break everything down and recycle it and sell us knockoff items from these materials.

Maybe that's why Tesla has been seen testing a cheaper version of Model 3 in U.S. Again, what's BYD Australia doing about this? Also, let's not get to excited and see how far they can go with that low price. Finally, the car is very ugly on the back..... serious look at the rear lights.....😅
