Testing the HF Elliptical coil from XP metal detectors

The Elliptical coil is the only thing I use , it’s great on all land types . It loves gold too 😊

I bought my Deus about a month ago and chose this coil. Last Saturday I found a bronze age Rapier fragment - it was very deep, as was the bronze age cloak pin I found very close to it. I notice people say this coil does not go deep but that sword part was over 12" down, and it wasn't a small target. After digging out a deep clod I had to go deeper still to find it. I will get a second coil soon but this does work as an all-rounder on the hot programme. Will try the higher frequency as well to see how that goes on my bronze age site.

Hi Gary, great video. Elliptical coil is a great little coil. I use it to great effect on the gold programs with the ORX. Used in gate holes and hot spots, found many a silver at depth.

Great video Gary! I love my HF elliptical coil, especially in trash, in rocks and brush and for competition hunts as it pinpoints fast using the wiggle back. Yes, I use it in the water too. Handy Coil, I think an oversized 12" x 7.5" version would be a absolute beast on difficult ground and stubble.

Su un ORX che programma si ouo usare con bobina ellittica Gary s ??? Senti spesso Coin deep reattivita 1 frequenza 31.1 khz in ambienti di bosco difficili ma con poco ferro dove il problema e lo spazio per spazzolare..amo questa bobina ma su ORX non sono riuscito ancora a sfruttare al massimo la sua potenza ..Con Deus utilizzo il programma Sonar oppure pitch 101 anche 74 khz ... grazie

it should be much sensitiever and selective than usual coils, i only use Epileptically coil cos my terrains are spoiled with al kind of little dirt's

I have a problem with this coil and there are more users who have it .. The coil is charging but the LED on the coil does not indicate when it is full !! What could be the cause of this?? I really enjoy the coil, ideal for between the corn stubble .. Nice that you pay attention Garry..👍🏻😀

Mine does this as well, sometimes if you unplug the charger for a couple of minutes then plug back in it will start flashing a little while later 👍

Use elliptical coil for the vast majority of my detecting. Worked out field becomes alive again. Don’t expect to work far and expect to be tired from digging.

I have 10 acres of virgin property where where an old fort from 1812 stood. I have lot's of metal and barrel straps and tons of old square nails I have found. Would this be a good coil to use on my property? If so, what would be the best program to use? If not, what coil would you suggest? I have the X35, HF Round and Elliptical. Really enjoy your videos. great job sniffing out those coins. I love that coil!! Man have I found some excellent stuff with mine. Even running a higher reactivity in the trash it will still let ya know deep stuff is there. In my opinion its almost as good as other machines with sniper coils on. Love the vids. What the heck kinda hand digger are you using now? Looks like a piece of metal ya just hammered together haha

I was just noticing for a while in your video. When I switch on Mi-6 my coil will disconnect and I can only hear signal from pinpointer but not coil. In your video you are swaying coin in front coil but pinpointer looks like ON? Is that because I am still running version 4? Should I update my system now????

Its always best to update your Deus, you can also use the MI-6 as a stand alone probe, it does not have to be wirlessly connected.

Hi Luis the HF round is deeper but the Elliptical can find the smaller targets....Hence in this instance I guess it's deeper. There is no real answer to depth because it depends on the target size and terrain.

Great Hunt the HF COIL is supreme, a DEUS user must own this coil. I use this coil on the beach, parks, schools... etc check out my vids.
