Ye lil bro doesn't understand that people actually don't have ADHD on youtube and can sit down after live and watch 4 hour vod they don't even need to watch 4 hours in 1 go just 1 hour there 2 there and done thats how I do it and it is good watching experience i almost never watch lives on youtube just vods. Also vods are monetized better then lives cuz u barely get adds on live and u get more on vod. Seems easy to understand but this pepega can't understand lol

KZbin literally recommends us vods in our homepage and feeds. They are part of the algorithm and are promoted like regular videos. I almost never go to the "Live" tab, but still can access vods easily because it's right there in your face. x can't comprehend that for some reason

yes but what he is saying is if I stream and have constant 500 viewers when the stream gets uploaded as a vod it will say it has like 5k views already because people click on people click off, so he doesnt think all the viewers it says is from people actually watching the vod after the stream which it isnt
@hasaznasa
@hasaznasa Ай бұрын
@@MaybeReverse ye but there is no way that avreage 8-10k viewers stream gets 5 mil viewers and 80k in ad revenue if stream is 4 hours long and if people just click in and out. What X is missing is that people on youtube most of the time don't watch lives and just watch the vods. Vods are also monetized better then lives I get almost no ads live but I get them while watching vod. I watched full youtube vods before and the viewing experience is good so I can see how people just play a vod like normal video and watch it. Also most people on youtube don't even get notified about live or are not online when someone is streaming so they watch the vod after. KZbin even recomends you vods on your main page if you didn't see them and you watch that youtuber videos.
@hasaznasa
@hasaznasa Ай бұрын
@@MaybeReverse also the point of the video is where is the money coming from and he gets almost nothing from twitch like 1k from ads but gets 80k from youtube with the same lenght of the live and twitch having more ads. The money is coming from the vod it doesn't rly matters if the views are click in or out it matters that the youtube vod makes money while twitch live makes way less.
@MaybeReverse
@MaybeReverse Ай бұрын
@@hasaznasa I mean some of the streams had 30k+ viewers but he showed destiny who gets barely any live viewers stream had 60k views right when stream ended. So his views were probably 2-3m when uploaded x didnt say that he wasnt getting any viewers from after the vod was posted but how is he getting 2k in ad rev from the live then 80k after even tho the video most likely had 1-3m views before it was posted as a vod the math doesnt really make sense, Also live stream ads normally pay more because its more engaging then a video.

the thing xqc soo stubborn on being right is ''the viewers click on n off of a stream thats why the no. goes millions so vod watcher ads revenue shouldnt be exponentially high'' so here i am, one of the vod viewer for youtube stream will explain why. i do watch the stream on n off then after the stream end i go watch the vod again multiple times to see part that i found interesting. heck i even watch some vod that i like days or weeks later again. n i tell u A LOT of people do that.

Moist has average 13k viewers on youtube. For x's idea to work (viewers clicking in and out of the stream makes up the majority of views on a 5 mil vid) Each 13k viewer would have to click in and out 384x for it to reach 5 mil...

Average people don't have the need or time to watch streams live but the format is still very important. Like seen here when X starts yapping with his cooked takes without any deep thinking behind them (which is expected on live while lacking the focus). Lore for the people using their time here: Most people would even watch live streams with delay from the start if they join late or even wait for the stream to finish so they can choose the parts to watch themselves. Live interactions like chatting, voting, stream sniping etc. are seen more as a hardcore part of the communities and something that requires the personal free time to invest in. If they would see the need to support streamers live they would prioritize their time differently as big part of the entertainment value is the live interactions on live streams with the communities. Top streamers are at their peak on live with their honest reactions and opinions, most viewers love the genuine people with their personalities. Chat gives feedback of mostly valid opinions with some baits and true degenerates in the mix. Valid feedback example here would be "?????" and as for bait "Truuue fuck yt frogs LUL charlie is so delusional" that becomes ill without the irony. Personally long time viewer who mostly enjoys streams by watching youtube VODs/edits. I have to watch Forsen, pokelawls, AsmonGold, PaymoneyWubby etc. and all other influencers to fully satisfy my needs but we all know and love X in our own ways. Never stop the madness. ❤xqcL

I can understand the confusion on the ad/per view income. Do you guys know if the ad rev from youtube streams = ad rev from regular videos? If that's the discrepancy then most likely, regular videos have better ads than companies willing to pay for livestream adspace. Otherwise, dude is clueless about longform video viewers. Some people treat youtube longform like audible.
