XR100 Flat Tracker Episode 7

We are still working on the engine but it's now together. Batman joins us to set the valves and timing but clearly it's not the help we need - but the one we deserve. We dive into why pie cut exhausts are silly (but fun!) and how you should use use mandrel bends unless you're a MotoGP team working with titanium - but pie cuts look cool and I'll find an excuse to do it but not in this video.

Nice job on the exhaust. One of my pet peeves are the singular thick exhaust mounting tabs seen on many home built systems. I feel the same way about fabricating or machining nice tabs and brackets and having them in places where they’ll never be seen, but the devil is in the details. Mike

Oh jeez no! I think that's a Seiko Kinetic SUN019 - I have about 10 old Seiko's in various states of repair but the two Kinetics I have both get the most wrist time. They just work and they take a beating in the shop.

Was this 150cc a kit?I have a bottom end from a 1987 xr100 im wanting to build to go in my honda xl75

Yes, it’s a Kitaco 145cc race kit. The motor has very high compression and can only be bump started.
