Wow! this is beautiful, I'm not sure how well it work for you because it warps a bit more but you could try using binding clips instead of masking tape if its just a sketchbook and you want ability to move it

question, where do you get your referances from?

+LifeLikeIan sometimes i find nice photos that i can use for pose or expression reference on tumblr but a lot of the time i just use photos of myself and try to change the facial features. i can just google different nose types and lips if i need help. For pose reference i normally just google the pose I'm looking for until i find something that's alright if i cant find anything ill just take a picture of myself. Sorry if this wasn't super helpful, I'll share a link if i ever find a good place to use.
