Thank you for the video. I would just suggest you change your marker ( which you left on the cassette) from Rt to Lt due to the fact that the patient is lying on his/her Lt side. Back when we used film that would never happen because you would change the cassette after every image and you would adjust the marker accordingly. With digital its easy to forget the marker because we don't change the digital cassette.

May you please explain wat you mean by angling will match the angle of the sacrum
@xrayimaginglady25862 жыл бұрын
The sacrum/coccyx bone is shaped with a curvature. Look up a side profile image online to see what I mean. So if we angle the X-ray tube it aligns it with the curvature of the sacrum/coccyx for proper imaging

What is dynamic coccyx sitting standing xray?
@xrayimaginglady25863 жыл бұрын
It is a series of X-rays performed while standing and then sitting to show the difference of the coccyx. It will show instability or abnormal movement. It is not performed frequently. Most likely only done in a specialty clinic

Why is the angling different for the 2
@xrayimaginglady25862 жыл бұрын
If you look at a side profile of the sacrum and coccyx it has a curved shape. So when imaging you angle up to match the curvature of the sacrum and better visualize the foramen and you angle down to match the curvature of the coccyx
