I am currently 2 months away from graduation. I began watching you when I started my program in 2020. At first a lot of what you said was a foreign language to me 😂 it’s so crazy seeing how much I’ve grown and how much I started to relate to everything you talk about. Now that I’m almost done (and super stressed for these final adjustments and my board exam) this video was a great pick me up. It showed me that everything will be okay and to just have faith in myself and my ability. These kind of videos for our career are hard to come by. Thank you for being a friend in my journey and for providing this insight to our community!

@@radassma2681 I think RadReview was very helpful for me. I noticed that questions were worded similarly to the actual Registry. The questions themselves are also a bit more difficult, but it helps prepare you for the real thing. My program gave us a lot of mock exams to work on because most of our clinical sites were shutdown. So I think that helped a lot as well. Basically, the more exposure you have to different questions, the better. I would advise taking a mock exam and breaking down your missed questions by category to see which area you could study up more. Mosby's is a good resource, I actually got to listen to the author himself talk about the registry. He really emphasized that as long as you understand the basic concepts, you will do just fine on the registry. (which I thought was very spot on after taking the registry) Sorry for the long reply, hope this helps in some way. Best of luck! :)

Nice channel! I have an X-ray and CT license and used to teach radiology part time at two community colleges in Los Angeles. Radiology is a great field to get into. I’m thinking of getting my masters in healthcare administration. The sky is the limit.

Don’t you have to take an update exam every two year to maintain your x-ray tech knowledge?

Didn't immediately get into the program last time I applied and did another program to get more money and quicker because the other program was shorter. But I'm going to reapply to the program this upcoming season. Deadline is Dec. I want this more than ever now. 😎

whats up friend, love your work. very informative. Could you show and explain fluoro exams such as Esophagram, Upper GI, BE? It can be stressful at times, especially if you don't see it everyday. Thanks for your help my guy

... This the kind of video I needed, I just started working and I think I might have imposter syndrome. I’m not confident with my work, always second guessing. How do I get over this, is it like a phase coz I’m really always anxious. The video did help a lot though, thank you.

Well i believe it has to do with you transitioning from a student to a tech. Give it some time, but at the same time make sure you’re progressing. You must believe in your time you put in as a student and know that you earned that RT(R) title by your name and you belong there.

X-ray Rey ... Thank you so much, I will definitely do that. It’s been two weeks since I made this comment and I believe I’ve made some significant progress.
