Julia Kristine can you tell me how long X-ray school is. I heard another video he said four years total because two years prereqs and two years rad program. So is it two or four years

vanessa The length on your program is going to depend on where you go to school. A bachelors degree = four years. An associates in applied science = two years. Regardless of what program you attend, you have to pass the National ARRT registry exam to become registered to work and depending on what state you live in, there is no pay difference between an A.A.S. and a B.S. as a technologist. The only advantage I see to a B.S. is if you want to go into management. Otherwise, you’ll just have a lot of extra debt

Difficulty is subjective! something I may have found difficult, someone else may have not - it entirely depends on what kind of learner you are (hands on, visual, etc.) I didn’t think the program was difficult! I’d highly recommend a JRCERT accredited AAS program over a BS program! Less tuition!
