open you text file in note pad or word and check, if your data have two columns. then it means your the first colum is for x-axis and the second colum for y-axis then you can change that to asc by just replacing the .txt to .ASC then you will be able to open that in xpert.

You need to have cod database file do you have that is about 4 to 8 gb

Kindly check where you have a COD database or not ,COD data base contains large number of xrd patterens detail in order to excited search and match you will need to have that data base, for more detail search on Google COD data base with xpert

Hello. I can't understand why you selected hydrogen. I think that this hydrogen's peak data is solid state. And, a Hydrogen gas isn't detected XRD. If you know the answer, please let me know.

Don't select hydrogen, if you know the element that are present in your data select only those specific element, but if you think their might be some impurity atoms/elements for verification than also select some optional atoms the xpert will search and match the results with the previous results of your data base.
