As a Viper connoisseur I would advise shifting when the rev bar is above the recommended gear roughly for best speed Also painting it blue with a yellow Stripe adds 20Bhp

Was delighted to see you finish 6th 😂😂 great racing on lap 1 too! A small tip for the Viper: It has a lot of power in lower revs so it's really easy to exit corners in higher gears with it. Also the optimal shift point is around 80% of the bar :)

With the viper you should not out rev it. Shift way earlier. You can see on the straight from 5th to 6th you hardly accelerated on the end of 5th gear and started to accelerate in 6th. I ussualy shift the viper when the rev bar is above the recommend gear indicator. Its an low rev big v10! Besides that awesome racing keep it up!

Yeah the viper and the mustang like to be slightly short shifted, but also that means you can get away with lower rpm pulls out of corners, saving a gear change.

I tried the ´pit on lap 4 for softs´ strat twice, twicd my tyres were completely shot at the end of the race they were like 1/4 full and 3/4 red xD next 3 races went from med to softs (lap 6-9) won all 4 of them (i´m a B & S btw)

Pole is still ideal, especially on this track, you can stay ahead, midpack yeah, may as well start in the back, BUT you don't get jack for ANYTHING except top 3, it doesn't matter if you gain 10 spots or 12, there's no increase in your DR.

I tried starting last in last week's race, and I got demoted from my S SR rank all the way down to a B because someone crashed into me which ended up in a huge crash for everybody and of course I got the penalty and the biggest SR drop. I blame you, Steve.

Man I was about to win my first ever race in that Tundra race but the guy in second place had other plans…so he rammed me on the decline and the Tundra, being a heavy truck with bad handling, spun out and I ended up in 5th place…then I tried to get back and got rammed again and rage quit. I mainly just hope they still have the GT Sport mode. If not, I can only hope they make GT Sport 2 or something. The allure of GT now for me is the actual structure the Sport mode provides. Every other sim racing game is great, but it's hard to get into the multiplayer aspect of them since there's no official multiplayer structure usually. But, it would be nice if there were tournaments. Maybe not globally, but something of a mini FIA race would be good. Maybe weekly tournaments of some sort.

It feels like simulator but dumbed down so it's quite easy to control the car compared to say Assetto Corsa. In Gran Turismo more important is racecraft and strategy than raw speed.

I honestly don't think we have seen multiplayer for GT7 because it's not going to be much different, if different at all than what we have in GT Sport. I'd like to be wrong, but I'm getting a feeling that we are in for more of the same. Even including the horribly flawed penalty system. Fingers crossed I'm not right, but without any other information, I have no reason to believe it will be any different. The cars will also likely feel the same.

starting at the back & gaining manu positions is the fastest way to level up your driver rank, tho i like trying to get pole sometimes. question does the driver rank deplete or lowers if u dont play the game or do daily excercise. cause i sold my ps4 to get a ps5, which i still cant get, and when i checked in the Gt sport app my driver level is D, and I'm sur I left it at the high c, i even got B briefly ...I wonder if its the new owner of my ps4 played with my login, cause I gave him some time to download games from my psdn collection before i changed the password. please let me know. In anycase Gt7 is coming, but i miss my gt sport, sony sent ,me a special timed invite for a chance to to buy a ps5 form them directly, but now Im broke, so too bad. I said on your GT7 trailer video that I have a hunch that they keep GT Sport running for the time being and GT7 is pretty much only single player. Would be weird, but the PS4 release of GT7 is also pretty weird.
