Going from 20th to 4th at such a narrow and punishing circuit is a tremendous feat - top split stuff! I think you should choose an MR car for the Manufacturers Series this year. Your pace is up there towards the top-splitters whenever I see you drive them. Cracking video, as always!

I had my first go at Sport mode, Mr Super GT. The Gr.4 at Monza. I used my Megane '11 (was the best I had). I used your strategy of qualifying last or 2nd last; usually finished 10th or 11th, but had no penalties in all the races, and moved my SR from B to A. I am too timid with my braking, and got punted a lot of times.

Steve starts last just to make the video interesting. You absolutely don't want to do that. Run practice laps until you are fast enough to start on (or near) the pole. Every time you race, you are gambling your points. If you finish in the lower half, you lose points. You always want to finish in the upper half. The kudos prime website has all of your stats. It really helps you figure out if your lap times are quick enough to race.

until they get the penalty systems sorted out, you are always best holding the inside with a death grip. Contact from the inside to the outside, the game is seeing the outside driver as turning in on the inside driver and outside driver will receive a penalty. Many drivers really take advantage of this game breaking glitch, as they can dive the guy in front and give him a penalty. Even if they fail to pass, they are guaranteed to get around at the penalty zone.

For me in PC2 i have different HUd levels on each camera, in cockpit there is none so i have to rely on the car's display, since i'm someone who cares more about fun and not positions, i find it's easier to relax, all i really need is popups on split times, lap and the overhead positions display on cars and thats it, everythign else you can hear and feel (eg tire wear or engine problems)

The worst example of penalties I’ve seen was the monza race when the person in front of me got over taken through ascari with some contact and the person that was overtaken got a seven second penalty.

Your right about the penalty system which is broken atm. I was doing the daily at Monza and on the last lap got dive bombed by a car that was 5th ( i was 1st ) he hit me big time from the rear spinning me. He got a 1 second penalty I got a 2 second penalty for causing a collision. The penalty system is broken. When other cars are ramming people off the tracks and getting no penaltys for it and the cars being punted are.

the inside justices penalty system nowadays in GTS is just nonsense, experienced these silly penalties in quite a few FIA races... I just drives me nuts when we are having good battles but got penalized for nothing but a tiny little tap. Great race anyways :D

“Just be patient the rice will cone to you” is the best advice that you have given me, in early race might look you are loosing and you might try to push harder to try to set faster laps but that just means mistakes and completely loosing the race.
