Can’t believe it took them this long for such a minor improvement. Should have done 60W PD to allow 4 slots to have 3A charging. Then at least they match their competition

My current Xtar still running. Still a decent charger after 1.5 years of use but I do like the readout better on this one than the VC4SL I'm using. The information is way clearer than trying to interpret that digital round gauge type display. Thanks Skeet

I have a similar one from tenergy. Can individually recharge batteries. And is usb powered. Super cool.

Hi man, great video! I have a question you might be able to answer: When I put the battery into the VC8, it shows the voltage relatively accurate (compared to my 2 multimeters), being off just under .02V. But just a few seconds after, when the charging starts, the voltage on the display is like .20V higher and keeps getting higher, the higher charging amperage is determined by the charger. Example: I put in a 3.7V (multimeter measurement) 21700 into the VC8. It shows 3.68V. 3 for 4 seconds after that, the voltage shown on the display reads 3.90V? If I lower the charging current, voltage on display drops from 3.90V at 3000mah to 3.77V at 500mah. Would you happen to know what the meaning of this strange behaviour is? I'm new to flashlights, chargers and Li-Ion batteries. Thanks!

My xtar dosnt go down to a quarter amp, mine only goes down to half anp, i think mines called the vp4sl dragon 🐉🐲 And it can only do 2 amps at the top end only 2 slots, or 1 amp 4 slots I love all my xtar products i also got the pb2sl which is awesome, i use it to run my camera outside because the battery life on my akasso camera sucks, where ad i can plop 2 21700 in my xtar PB2SL and run the camera for ever
