I had an XTAR charger for my 18650 batteries before and unfortunately lost it in a bag of luggage that the airlines somehow managed to lose, but it was definitely the best quality battery charger I’ve ever had and miss it dearly. Thanks for the video! I was actually looking for exactly this charger and I'm very happy that XTAR has finally made it. I'm still using my XTAR BC4 that came with my first set of 1.5 V LiIon batteries. But I always had to pack an additional charger for 18650s when I went on vacation. Now, this can be reduced to one!

I bought a set of 8 AA XTAR batteries and charger after your original video. I put some in one of my grandson's toys that used to last about 4 weeks of nightly use with alkaline batteries, 2weeks on eneloops and on the XTAR batteries, its lasting over 6weeks. I have since bought another 8 of them to start replacing batteries in other devices.

I picked up a set of those XTAR AA and AAA batteries about a month ago, and so far so good. The charging cradle lives next to my venerable XTAR VC4, so if I'm not lucky enough to win one, I think I'm going to order one of those VX4's just to consolidate things. I always suspected those AAA batteries would be a bad fit for listing to AM radio on my pocket Sangean, but after you mentioned it too, I decided to make a quick test and sure enough, just bringing a set of batteries next to the radio running on NiMH batteries causes interference. And putting the batteries into the Sangean completely overwhelms AM reception. FM reception is just fine. It's a great product (so far), especially for those devices that get a little squirrelly on 1.2v, and I'm glad a company like XTAR offers them. Thanks for the update on your experience.

These XTAR chargers are good, I’ve been using the older VC4 model for 8 years and not had any issues as long as you use a decent usb supply, good to see the latest model has USB-C, be glad to see the back of micro-USB!

Perfect timing... I've been meaning to get a XTAR charger and batteries after seeing your last video about the AA batteries, as they seem to be a bit better than the last AA lithium batteries I got. I also use some AAAs, so now that XTAR have both, and a really nice charger that can upgrade my Opus BT-C3100s, it looks like I really do need to get some of their gear now! 😆

I am going to build my first self build li ion battery pack and I was looking for a charger to charge the individual 18650 and 21700 cells. Very useful charger from XTAR. I have a similar requirement to charge various 1.5 and 3.7 volt cells as well. I currently have two or three different chargers to manage them all.
