Ry, this might be late depending on how far you are on the VK swap BUT the air filter boxes between the VQ40 and VK56 are identical. They even have the same oem part number.

I just did a full tear down of the engine but it must be removed from the truck. The video is called VQ40 tear down.

@Ry the car guy yea mine has 242000 and it's throwing random misfire I replaced the plugs, coils ,o2 sensor ,checked the evap system replaces the hoses just not sure what's Goin on

How much would you sell the engine for or are you parting it out

My plan was to break it up and sell most the parts. Mostly because Duncan said it was knocking on the bottom end and smoking. So main engine is probably shot or is going to take a lot of work. I would well it as a whole but there might be a ton of useable stuff on it.

Ok I was Goin to see about maybe the full system .. rails, injectors, pump regulator , if possible.. I have been watching your videos big fan looking forward for the swap seeing if I can do here where I live
