ive got A LOT of history with this band & i know/knew all the members personally. they WERE the 1st to do autotuned dance parts with breakdowns, Attack Attack 100% ripped them off in those aspects & even admitted to taking pics of their equipment while Attack Attack was still just a christian metalcore band. also Zach & Jimmy were 100% kicked out so the remaining members could get more money & per diems on the road from Sumerian & merch sales. i know because i was on their Bandwagon tour bus dozens & dozens of times hearing them argue over the lack of money & their "guarentee" money(Devin was always at the center of these convos, because he over values his own contributions to the band & is a narcisstic control freak). they would guest list me in exchange for dubstep samples/sounds, weed & alcohol(they all partied hard not just Zach) but the dubstep patches i gave them they LITERALLY used on New Demons. i produced numerous dubstep patches/sounds that they used on New Demons but i never got any producer credit like Rhaziel, Mutrix or Celldweller, cause i wasnt an established artist but these are facts. i have emails to back up what im saying. if you wanna know anything else about the band, just ask but i havent spoken to the 4 remaining members since 2014 when they kicked Zach & Jimmy out Jimmy got his CDL license & drives big tour busses for huge entertaining acts like The Weekend, Steve Vai & Bert Kreiser, so Jimmy is 100% way better off without them BUT their new music is utter trash without Zach Johnsons vocals.

Fun fact, I See Stars inspired Attack Attack to add electronic parts to their sound after someone in AA saw an ISS performance when they were both just getting started
@livcore15 сағат бұрын
Interesting fact
@QlockworkOrange14 сағат бұрын
@theangelbelow88 Johnny Franck literally took pics of Devins AVP-1(vocal processor that produces autotune) on a flip phone & started using one immediatel after. Shortly later they picked up Caleb on keys & the rest is history. Attack Attack blatantly ripped ISS off & were able to get their debut released & signed to a label first but ISS definitely inspired them & are true OGs along with Sky Eats Airplane & Enter Shikari
@theangelbelow8814 сағат бұрын
@@QlockworkOrange awesome to get even more details on this and yep, ISS pioneered the style, but Attack Attack copied and popularized it

@@theangelbelow88 Is it plagarism if it means copying their style?
Back in my early 20's I was in a band with this one dude I randomly met on Facebook. We decided after maybe a month of emailing back and forth to finally meet up. Within like 5 minutes of meeting up we already had material going and that's when I found my "music soulmate" if you would. After about 6 months of writing and hanging out we decided that we should likely branch out and find other players to fill the band out. Mind you we didn't intend for this to happen we just took a chance and it worked out really well for a while. Anyhow, we invited a drummer buddy of his and bassist player. Sadly upon our first jam session together with all of us I get a text message on the way home that I no longer fit the sound despite the sound being the material I brought with me from home when I was writing by myself. I was pretty heartbroken but oh well whatever. A week later these dudes posted a video for a "new song" of MY guitar riff and idea for drums we were working on. I called them out on it and posted SoundCloud links of the stuff they were playing. Those guys broke up about 2 months later over "musical differences" and yah my buddy called me after that asking if I wanted to join his new project band 😂 Sorry for the long post have a wonderful day 😊

Ten Thousand Feet was my favorite song, as it had this intro where it has a woman saying "Fail" repeatedly and segues to the track, and that 808 trap intro leading up to the aggresiveness and the clean vocals. And, the best part, INF1N1TE, a dubstep producer did the remix for "Initialization Sequence". It was one hell of a good drumstep remix. Wish Ten Thousand Feet would have gotten remixed as well

Watching this wonderful videos, I think myself, why not talk about russian metalcore and deathcore scene of this era? Yes, they are not exactly part of myspace, but still interesting to hear. Deathcore examples: Sumatra, My Autumn, Autoscan, Kangaz Korva, Taking Your Last Chance and etc. Metalcore: The korea
