I see 'Batch fill' needs an internet connection and shows "limited offer". Does this mean to make it work with the conveyer belt we need a permanent internet connection to make it work? And with "limited offer" could this mean that using the Batch fill function could be monetized because it needs some type of AI to make it work?

I'm on the fence between the F1 & ultra? I would love to start engraving on jewelry! Things that I'm considering, F1- the price is great. Ultra- has a deeper engrave for jewelry, I seen? Is there anything else I should consider when making my decision? Thanks

Hey! Another big one is portability, if you plan on maybe doing craft shows or anything like that the F1 is very easy to transport. But the F1 will be more for marking the metals on the surface. Although permanent you won’t get any depth on it like you mentioned. The Ultra can do in a couple of seconds what the standard F1 can do in a couple of minutes. On the other hand more power on the Ultra also means much faster engraving times. Also giver you the ability to cut some thinner sheet metals like aluminum and brass which may open the door to some custom pieces. At the end of the day they are both great machines but the Ultras additional power and speed makes it a better machine for metals.

Would you recommend getting the F1 since the release of the F1 Ultra for someone starting out with a fiber laser? If you have never had a fiber laser is it F1 suitable or is the extra 2k worth the increase in costs?

Some people talked about how it just a bit short you do a full sleeve tumbler with the rotary. Do you know if it is possible to use the rotary with the conveyor so it can make a longer sleeve pass?

Hey unfortunately it not possible. Similar to the Standard F1 you have to pick either the rotary or the conveyor in XCS. However the ultra can engrave much larger so you may be able to get away with some of the smaller coffee tumblers in 1 go on the ultra

Not yet! But it will be available soon. We just designed and printed it yesterday so we want to make sure it’s snug enough not to leak and smoke but still easy enough to fit. We will make a short about it once it’s available. Probably sometime early next week

It does but only with wood and acrylic really, or pumpkins if you seen that video of ours haha. You might be able to get some depth on slate but it may take some time

Yes, the F1 Ultra is set up to use the larger xTool air purifier out of the box. He needed the 3D-printed part to fit the smaller desktop purifier.
