😂😂. So far I’m impressed… I really don’t know how much I will integrate it into my day-to-day activities but it definitely will have its place

WOW! "Lay-ser" How fancy! That was a very enlightening demo of the product. Though it still seems like magic. Thanks for demo. Certainly something to think about for the future.

It’s a different type of machine than I’m used to… that’s for sure

Great review! Nice to watch a review with down to earth opinions rather than 'sponsored' opinions. This particular model is something that I am working towards purchasing. A long way off, but I'll get there 😂 Thanks again, Tim! 👍🏻

You’re very welcome and good luck… I think my wife is going to wind up using this more than I do, but it will definitely be integrated into the shop

Very nice! Will be following the progress on this. I noticed at a few of the local craft fairs it’s really important to be able to do personalization to be competitive.

I agree and if I’m being honest, that’s probably the main reason I brought this into my shop. I want to be able to personalize some items on my Etsy store and I also want to be able to edge my logo into items I am selling

Hey, Tim. I think a laser would be great for personalizing, but it will be a while before in the market for one. I didn't see the link to the xtool site ... did I miss it or did you? 😅

They asked me to get the video up by the ninth but I haven’t gotten my link yet… I appreciate you asking about it but as soon as I get it I will add it to the description. I’ve played with it a couple times and I think it’s definitely something that will get tons of use, it’s just not going to be our main production process. I like my saw and my planer and my router table a whole lot more than a laser 😂😂🤟🏼

Go, longhorns... I've been thinking about a laser engraver, but I want a router also. I've been eyeing the alienfox laser engraver/cnc router. I'm going to have to save about 1 year, more or less. But first i need a planer..with spiral or helix . Not sure the difference. I've been youtubing and also a drill press. Any thoughts?

As far as an automated machine like a laser or a CNC… Like I said in the video, I’m not going to integrate this into our daily use. This will be something that we can use occasionally for specialized projects. I will probably use it more to etch my logo on the back of my projects when I sell them than anything else and I probably would not have spent the money on this… Glad they offered me the product in exchange for some promotion through my channel. I would highly recommend getting a good planer and a joiner is my next purchase. If you have a lumberyard in your area (not a big box store) it is so much cheaper to buy material that is not finished on all four sides and finish it yourself with your planer and joiner.
