Be very wary using a drill for sanding. Drill bearings aren't designed to take lateral forces. You may end up increasing the runout, ruining the drill(press).

Great advice. It’s not my main tool for sanding but there are certain things I do like using it for. Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment, I really appreciate it

I use that tape, it’s the first and only I bought. My problem with it is it sticks too well and I can never get the wood apart without tremendous effort.
@NuKraftWorkshop5 күн бұрын
It definitely sticks 😂😂. I have found that using about half of what I would normally use solves that issue. That actually makes it twice as good as a deal 🤟🏼🤟🏼

Great Video! I had to add a couple of inches to the 87 1/2 inch cuts because my totes were slightly wider, but other than that I followed this like exactly and it turned out awesome. Thanks for doing these videos the way you do them.

I really appreciate that and I hope that my disclaimer in the video about my dimensions only being for the Home Depot totes helped you avoid some errors 👍🏼 Thanks for watching and taking the time to leave a comment. If you have the ability to send me a picture of your finished project on Instagram or Facebook, or email them to me… I would greatly appreciate it 🤟🏼🤟🏼

Clearly you have no respect for stores. They have to pay staff, power bills, water bills, taxes and a lot of other things so yes they are more expensive and people like you who buy online are the reason shops close

Clearly you have no idea about who I am and what I do for a living. I have ran my own business (not related to woodworking ) for 25 years so I definitely know a few things about overhead. I fight this battle on the other end each and every day. Every one of my customers has the ability to purchase from Amazon (or retail in their area)… That’s why it’s my responsibility to offer added value to their purchase. When it comes to items for my shop, there are a few things I will go and purchase at my local store. For the most part, I don’t need excellent customer service, I don’t need a friendly face, I need a great price and free delivery. Amazon offers those things… Woodcraft and rockler do not. Thanks for watching and taking the time to leave a comment, it really helps our channel

I appreciate that. We are still on vacation and should be back this weekend… There are quite a few changes coming in 2025. Website is getting redone and should be ready by the 15th or 20th of this month. Content is changing on the channel and there will be more advanced projects, shop jigs, etc. in addition to keeping the beginners wood working series active each Friday. Once the website is up, I will have plans available to all of our projects

There is 57 reviews with a 64% rating on the corner clamps you recommended. I do not think they are worth buying. There are better kits available with a higher rating and more reviews. I think products should have at least 200 reviews with 70% as five star before they are even reviewed. (in my opinion) . Merry Christmas Eve from Northern Colorado (the 51st State). :)
@NuKraftWorkshop19 күн бұрын
It’s possible that I linked to a different set. You know how it can be on Amazon with multiple products that look the same. Regardless, my set that I received is perfectly square and I wouldn’t recommend anything to my subscribers that I didn’t feel was worth the money. Merry Christmas to you and your family as well 🤟🏼🤟🏼

Are you aware of any difference (other than warranty, which you mentioned) between this saw and the G0899? $1100 seems a bit much for just one more year warranty.
@NuKraftWorkshop21 күн бұрын
I believe grizzly must currently be clearing out the 0899… If you look at it at most of the places that sell it it’s listed right at 2000 and when I bought the shop fox version I actually caught it on sale for 1899 including shipping. The price on the grizzly right now is an absolute steal. I understand this is not a $4000-$5000 table saw but for the money, I have been more than pleased with the precision, durability, etc.

Great piece! It’s always amazing how tung oil will make the wood really pop. I can sympathize with your mistake. Just today I made a mistake in three different projects and had to solve the problems. Mistakes happen. That’s just the way it goes sometimes. Of course it also satisfying to successfully overcome a mistake. Thanks for a great video.

I appreciate your comment as always. Beginners have no idea how much time they are going to prep a product for finish. Building it, designing it, gluing it up… You’re gonna spend more time finishing and prepping for finish than all of those combined
