Will Adam's H20 Guard & Gloss be able to beat Xtreme Solutions Poly-Seal in my latest spray wax challenge? Today I'm testing a product from a company brand new to me, Xtreme Solutions, against a company whose products I've used for years, Adam's Polishes. Will Poly-Seal from Xtreme Solutions surprise me or will H20 Guard and Gloss be the best spray wax in today's test? Your g&g was clumpy because it's supposed to go on a wet rag or surface and get spread around. Polyseal works amazing wet or dry tho. Good video.

I've been using Xtreme Solutions Ploy seal for about two years and I love the gloss and slickness it provides. I don't think it provides 15 or 16 washes of protection in real world usage, but it does last for several months. It's easy to reapply, so I don't mind doing it 2-3 time a year.

Have you ever tried Griot's Foaming Poly gloss? I've been using it for a few years now, and it's awesome for a spray foaming sealant. Very easy to use, gives you about a month or two of protection. whenever family or friends have me wash their car (they never have protection), I just use that and saves a lot of time from having to dry sticky panels, then go around the car with a wax or sealant. I saw someone else mentioned gyeon wetcoat, and adams rinse + coat, you could also add G-Techniq, they recently came out with a product that is similar. Lastly, a "value proposition" category could be pretty solid here, but it would be hard to score. For instance, Griots Foaming Poly Gloss is 70 for a gallon, but you only use about 1.5 oz's per use so it ends up being a lot cheaper than a lot of the competition in that sense. Say, a price per oz? Keep up the good work buddy! I noticed you have that color checker too lol, that really helps nail the colors

Good to see you again :). Haven't tried Griot's Poly Gloss yet, ill add it to my ever growing list :). Sounds like a strong endorsement! The other products (wetcoat, rinse+coat, and Gtechniq) are already on my list. As far as prices, on the site and in the video I tend to give the price per pint (since most products are 16oz) and I use the cheapest option, so if they sell a 5gal at a discount I base it on that. Some products are an incredible deal if you buy them by the min-barrel :)! I do like the color checker, it helps a lot to get white balance dialed in if you change the light setup. I dont use it every time, but if I'm outdoors or change something up I usually try to bust it out and get it in the shot incase I'm off on the gray/white card balance/exposure.

Yeah I'm a big photography guy, don't really do too much video but I love the x-rite color checker passport 2 for studio or outdoor shoots to make sure I'm spot on before I edit. And yeah, I think you'd like Poly Gloss. I'm curious what kind of readings it would provide. I know for a fact it's not passing the ISO test, and I'd be surprised if it lasted more than few car washes. But it's ability to cling and install itself onto otherwise flat, dead panels is so easy and impressive I always find myself going back to it. I use it exclusively on my Viper, since I don't really like touching the soft (and peeling in some spots) clear. So poly gloss allows me to do true touchless application and drying, saving me some swirls lol! And ZERO streaking or buffing, which is big for me

Would love to see the red panels gloss units right after application then after the 24hr mark... I've never personally tested it but I heard that after products cure the gloss increases.. Maybe you have tested that as well...

Hey Barry, appreciate you watching! The hood (red panel) is curved so it makes getting good readings hard since the meter is flat. It only gives consistent results on flat surfaces. Otherwise it bounces around a few gloss units as you try to stabilize it. This is why I have the flat panel. I don't talk about it in the video, but maybe I should, but the black test panel is also 24hr cured just like the red panel (hood).

Is it just me or polyseal says to apply on a damp applicator and NOT ON THE PANNEL........

There are several common ways of using polyseal. The damp cloth is probably the easiest way to apply since you can’t over spray. However they do say you can use it directly if you’re careful and even show that in their product page video. I prefer a direct application for a dry panel.
