This is probably my favorite song out of all the German musicals I've listened to.
It's atmosphere is simply beautiful, and I used to listen to it on loop all the time while working on late night projects.
(What can I say, I never got tired of the voice of Máté Kamarás, along with a few others :3)
It makes me really happy seeing how well-received the English adaptation has been.
All those nights listening to it on repeat, the English lyrics came to me bit-by-bit, so technically out of all the English lyrics I've done, this one took the longest (yay for extra rewrites and polish).
Looking back, I'm just glad the work paid off and reached more audience outside of my own head XD
Making a German cover of this song wasn't exactly on my to-do list, but I did feel like I should.
To pay a little homage to a beautiful song, and all the time it accompanied me through projects long and short, if nothing more.
