Hello, Expert. I saw your review about the 3XO AX5L MT. It was very interesting and well explained. I actually purchased the same car in yellow (AX5L model) in August 2024. I drive to the office every week, covering 180 km each way (360 km round trip). On the highway, I’m barely getting 13 km per liter, and in the city, I’m only getting about 11 km per liter. So far, I’ve driven 6,000 km. As you mentioned, how can we achieve 15 km per liter? Even when I shift gears below 2,000 rpm and maintain a speed below 80 km/h without frequent gear changes on the highway, my fuel efficiency doesn’t improve. I also noticed that when I fill the tank completely, the display shows an estimated range of 17-18 km per liter, sometimes 15 km, but when the fuel level drops below half, it shows 12.3 or 12.8 km per liter. What do you think about this? I drive carefully and have 5 years of experience. I’ve even done tank-to-tank measurements, and the best I’ve seen is around 11.9 km per liter. Let me know if you’d like any more help! Don’t worry, I have given like n subscribed also.

Hi brother Surprised to see such a long comment & Thank you for watching the detailed video. I have done a road trip from Bengaluru to Coorg and back with XUV 300 last year and checked its tank to tank mileage. It returned around 14kmpl on highway, top speed test & a ghat road patches. Detailed test video is available in my channel. Shocked to see such a low mileage on highway with TGDi in xuv 3xo with the explanation you have given on your driving style. It must give you 15-17kmpl with ac on the highway with your driving conditions I agree it doesn't give more than 12kmpl in City 1. Pl check if you are keeping a foot on the clutch while driving 2. Try to use cruise control on highways 3. Check tyre pressure for sure 4. Dont drive with windows open 5. Try to fill petrol in the same bunk every time (prefer Indian oil or hp) 6. Check brake pads gap if it is rubbing the disc 7. Check idle rpm, inform service persons if throttle is high or increasing intermittently This is what i can suggest By the way I am not expert 😄

@@gurunaach bro for mahindra turbo kicks in at 1500 rpm. When turbo kicks in automatically mileage drops. U might drive smoothly Unfortunately turbo range not allowing you get expected mileage. Try to run below 1500 rpm . Might give some luck on mileage

Did multiple long highway trips, getting 8 kmpl bumper to bumper Hyderabad traffic, 10 kmpl moderate traffic, free moving will get 12, on highways if your speed below 80 you will get 20 kmpl easily, 80 to 100 16.5 kmpl, between 100 to 120 you will get 14 kmpl, these figures are tank to tank and with 5 adults, ac on, full luggage.
